Probiotics

Has anyone heard that taking probiotics will help speed up weight loss? I've read that it will and am wondering if anyone else has tried it.

  • I would check with your doctor to make sure the supplements are ok to take. I know probiotics are good for you, but not sure what it would do after surgery.

I agree with NikiG.... check with your doctor first.

I haven't had to take any post surgery because of the amount of yogurt I eat. I have always taken them to maintain intestinal flora. Had MRSA and heavy duty antibiotics once. Never did them for weight loss.
