I'm so sorry your going through all of this. Taking care of your kids is such a full time responsibility and a job all by itself. I applied for social security and it is taking a very long time. . I think you brining in a little extra income would help, but not cure the problem. It seems like he has always been a little on the controlling side and you were able to deal with it in the past. Did everything get really bad right after surgery? I think having someone lease to talk to and bounce ideas off of is very important or it will help you keep a little sanity! Your strong, beautiful and powerful. I know you make these choices for your kids and not just yourself. Do you really want to find another way out or just try to work harder on staying together? Can you make it 2 more years? Stay Strong!!!

Yeah. They ate gross and most do not have the GOOD source of protein. There is a previous thread on it.

Hey. I'm up. To be honest, it doesn't sound like your going to leAve him for both emotional and financial reason. You've put up with him for this long and you want your kids to keep their same lifestyle. The bad part, he knows all these things as well. I'm not one of those types of women who tell other women to leave their husbands because no one knows the whole story and I can't pay your bills. Lol. I would recommend that you still get counseling because one day your kids will be older and may not need as much care and you won't have the same reasons and needs to stay. There are a few jobs online you can do from home, you just have to find something you are good at. It's never a good sign when they run all your friends and/or family away. Why do you think he has such a huge problem with you or working?? Most men would like a woman at home to cook / clean etc...

My sister has 3 kids and they all eat the same things. 2 are super skinny like size 0 and 1 and the other is a little fluffy . Why don't they ever say genetics?

I'm realizing protein may have been my problem all along. . I absolutely hate it. Meat, shakes etc. ughh.

I've never had kids. I was pushing 280 and could not imagine being pregnant on top of that. I also have tons of health problems and was taking a lot of medication that would not be healthy for a baby. I hope after I learn the correct way to eat and exercise and enjoy my new body for a while, I can have a baby at a lower weight and loose it through a healthy lifestyle.

I think mental problems ate real health conditions and therefore have to be treated medically. Just like how people think WLS is a easy way out, others think you can just force yourself to be happy. Sometimes, it can be genetics and a condition that runs in the family. I didn't know if I was overweight and then depressed or was the depression causing me to be overweight? Catch 22 right!!

I actually leave bottles and cups everywhere in my house and I put a 30 min reminder timer on my phone. This one is a struggle!!! Ughh

I feel very happy and content when I spend most of my days not eating. I know this sounds strange but most food feels like bricks in my stomach except for seafood, which I'm starting to get sick of. I feel great eating about 200 calories a day, but everyone insists it isnt enough. I know it is part of the reason I've been in the hospital twice and why I hardly have any energy. But, when I force myself to eat more I feel awful!! Rock & Hard place ... ;(

I don't think anyone is on this site to judge. But if we tell people only what they wanted to hear, we really would not learn anything! It's important to share your story so someone else may be able to learn from your mistakes. It would be helpful to know what / why you ate it just in case someone else is having the same thoughts or feelings. No judgements - just another way to help!

I really hate meat so I'm eating dish daily. The only other source I can really tolerate that's pretty high in protein is cottage cheese.

I normally weigh myself Monday and Friday. I like to know if I'm doing something right or wrong during the week / weekend.

Be glad u are at a point where u can workout. . I can't eat enough calories to workout yet. I'm ready to walk and dance etc, but I'm exhausted still.
