Better than bouillon is an amazing broth base and comes in a few flavors. Broth can be very easy to get down when other products seem to stick. Best of luck to all of you!

I am over six weeks out and following rules and plans exactly... Blessed with a good recovery and feeling great. Went for Mexican food and was eating the "guts" out of a beef enchilada. Doing great and had to have one bite of a fresh flour tortilla. One bite... Not even one inch of a piece... BAD THINGS HAPPENED! I am very afraid of tortillas now. Excellent lesson and a mistake I won't make again. Now I am afraid of bread too. Probably a very good thing.

Have you had your gallbladder checked? That is pretty common with folks who experience rapid weight loss. I'd make an appt just to be sure... I hope you feel better!

Sorry you are struggling! I had water trouble too. I mixed diet cranberry juice with water and it was wonderful to me. I'm five weeks out and doing great. You will be there very quickly. Also, try ice chips if necessary. They melt nicely and sometimes feel better than sipping. Best of luck to you!

My surgeons office prepares it for those requesting it. I'd ask the front office staff on your first visit as they usually require Some Time to complete it. Best of luck to you!

I think you will be just fine. The no aspirin and such is very important so keep NO secrets from your surgeon. If you cough post op, keep a pillow or hold your stomach with your hand. Helps a lot! If they give you an abdominal binder, even better! You can buy one if one isn't provided. Wishing you an Uneventful surgery and a speedy recovery.
