  1. I drank them pre surgery and still drink them. I have 1/2 bottle every afternoon for a snack. I like apple/melon the best.
  2. I was able to sleep on my side the first night home. It hurt to turn over on my side, but once i was there it was okay.

  6. I mix 1 single serve pouch of tuna with 1/4 C .2% cottage cheese and 1 T. of regular mayo for 2 servings. 1 serving has 83 cal., 2g carbs, 3g. fat, 1 Fiber, and 13 Protein. I often eat this for lunch with 1/4 of an avocado.
  7. I would like a mocha flavor. I sometimes pour some into my coffee for the same effect.
  8. I would say when you are off any pain meds and don't feel exhausted. It is different for every one. I don't work, but it was over two weeks until I didn't feel like a zombie by early afternoon.
  9. I eat chicken, fish, ground beef, ground turkey, cottage cheese, greek yogurt, and regular cheese.
  10. There is one called Eat Slower that times your bites.
  11. I left the hospital 8 lbs heavier than when I went in. It took me over a week to lose it again. It is all the IV fluids they pump into you. It takes a while to get rid of it.
  12. Try drinking with a sippy cup and hold your nose. I know it sounds stupid but it worked for me.

  15. The only time I puked was when I finished eating and forgot and took a big gulp of Water. The water along with a little food just sort of slid back out. Wasn't really like puking.
  16. I would try a drink at home before the cruise just so you know how it is going to affect you.
  17. I have a couple glasses of wine at home once a week and it doesn't affect me any more than it did before.
  18. They have it at my local Kroger and Amazon has it.
  19. I still drink one every few days when I need to get more Protein in.
  20. I was never told that...good to know. I usually finish eating by 7pm and don't go to bed for at least 2-3 hours after, though.
  21. I brought my phone, charger, kindle, chapstick, extra underwear and that's it. Anything else I needed was provided for me. I was too loaded on morphine to read and didn't use my phone other than having my son text hubby.
  22. I just do 30 min. on the treadmill 5-6 days a week and do some light weight lifting.
