Muscle over use or something else

I will be two weeks out tomorrow. Been staying at a friends house since that time. I came home this past Friday to my two dachshunds.

I don't know if I picked up something (a bag or a dog) that was too heavy but I've been experiencing some right sided pain from time to time. It feels more like a slight cramp and it only occurs if I bend or sit in a certain position. I read that if you pick up or carry something too heavy you could over use the muscle.

I don't have a fever. I am able to get my Protein and liquids.

Do ya'll think it is muscle or something worse? Should I call the doctor?

Thank you.

Probably just a muscle twinge. I got them frequently the first week to ten days.

That's good to hear! I am trying not to worry.

Thank you so much!!

Wouldn't hurt to be checked out though...better safe then sorry...K

Is the pain on your back or abdomen? Doesn't sound dangerous, but I would call the doctor/nurse, just to be safe. Feel better!

Lower abdomen, below the waist line.

Thanks to everyone for their responses. Went to see surgeon today and he said everything looked fine and that I just over used some muscles!! Thank goodness! Still sore but it comes and goes.
