  1. The rules are different depending on your doctor.
  2. I was told to let them come off in the shower.
  3. I had a small steak, sauteed mushrooms, and asparagus. Not something I couldn't eat again and I have had it several times. I tried to think of something I wouldn't be able to eat after surgery and nothing sounded worth it. I might have gone out for Mexican food if I had someone to go with.

I look forward to the morning after potty event. It doesn't always work, though. Sometimes my morning coffee helps move things along.

I have some wine every week. Not a big deal for me.
  6. My 600lb. Life is a totally different. It does not involve superskinny people swapping diets with superfat people. I watch both shows and there is no comparison.
  7. Most people like Premier Protein shakes. That's what I use. I buy mine at Kroger, but Amazon, costco, Sam's, and some Walgreen's have it.
  8. I can't find an American version under the same name.
  9. It's on YouTube. Just search supersize vs superskinny
  10. You should check it out. I am pretty sure I am going to embark on a marathon.
  11. Has anyone seen this show? It is a British show and I am watching it on YouTube. I have watched all of season one and am into season two since yesterday. Season one seemed stupid with the "Ban the Big Bum" stuff, but season two is pretty good. The main premise is having an overweight person and an extremely underweight person swap diets for a week. In season two they bring in a woman who is about to have gastric sleeve surgery as a method of scaring the overweight person into eating a normal diet. The surgeon said "she would never be able to eat in a restaurant again". I don't know how old this series is, but it has many more seasons so I am sure it has changed a lot. Even so, I am finding it interesting now that My 600lb. Life is over for now.
  12. I'm over 3 months out and have lost only 32 lbs. You are not the only one.
  13. I just had a P3 for lunch...very good!
  14. I would have strayed off of cricket broth, too. Ick! Anyway, maybe the onions made you gassy. That could make your stomach feel too full. Try some gas-x or something. I am pretty sure you didn't hurt anything.
  15. I have never heard of it. I worry sometimes when I am reading posts by people going overboard on exercise.
  16. Where in the store are these located?
  17. I never pureed anything. I ate tuna salad, refried Beans w/cheese, split pea soup, bean soup, stuff like that. I tried pureed chicken and just the sight of it made me want to hurl.
  18. I asked my NUT a couple of weeks ago and she said not to worry about calories, just Protein and Water. That said, I am shooting for around 800 a day.
  19. 234 today, same as last week. No way will I lose 4 lbs. this week to make goal.
  20. You look fantastic, congrats!
  21. Very little, if any. You will really notice when you start eating real food.
  22. You should probably talk to your PCP about after care when you return home. He/she should be able to provide the form for you.
  23. I first noticed my belly. Hubby and son say my belly, hips, and butt. I followed the no caffeine rule during pre-op and for one week post-op. After that I went back to my normal one 12 oz. cup of coffee a day. I never went overboard with coffee so I did not see any reason to abstain.
