  1. Ok... you're several months out...your losing hair... you have sex...he pulls your hair... HE PULLS OUT A CLUMP OF YOUR HAIR. Tell me this is unlikely.
  2. There is a special latest bag of stevia (sweetener in truvia) I've cooked with. Not the little packets, but the bag that measures out like sugar. Plus it could be that your tastes have changed on certain sweet tasting foods
  3. Stop thinking too much. Don't let your mind race. When I get panicky like you I stop, lie down n literally sing all the lyrics to a song I know. (What I Got, by Sublime - no judgin me!) It slows down my overthinking. Sometimes I have to sing it more than once until I get chilled out. Once your mind is no longer your enemy, you'll be able to rationalize better. Hang in there hun, you're not alone.
  4. Have you tried truvia? It's stevia, a natural sweetener. It's the only artificial sweetener that doesn't give me a headache.
  5. I live in Durant, but going to have my surgery in Norman thru Journey Clinic and Dr Lana Nelson. Looks like it'll be around December for me.
  6. Wow,I have Humana Gold (a Medicare advantage plan) and didn't have all that. No 6 month diet or 2 year diet history.
  7. Has to be at a Center Of Excellence to be approved and I'm really, really comfortable with this surgeon. I just don't like how they are spacing my nutrition appointments out 30 days each. I'd prefer to have the surgery asap and especially before the new year.
  8. Does anyone else have this plan? I was approved right away. Could've already had the surgery but it's my bariatric center that is making me go thru three months of their nutrition counseling, and a support group. I guess I'm just eager and was wondering if anyone with my type of insurance had the surgery.
  9. I just spewed my tea laughing at this
  10. I actually teared up. That is so sweet and such a wonderful NSV.
  11. I hope so. If your nauseous you won't even want to eat. Just get some rest and hang in there.
  12. Sorry, your best bet is to call your insurance company. Mine is Medicare Humana Gold. I went straight to my bariatric center and they did everything for me, though.
  13. Thanks, I was pretty thrilled about it. Weird how fate intervenes and changes everything.
  14. Woot woot! Definitely something to twerk about! I can't wait to follow in your footsteps!
  15. Hi, my name is April and I'm an Oklahoma girl I was actually a member on here previously (strangelynormal-yes, that's me with the hot pink hair) but once I tried to sign back in I couldn't because I no longer had access to the previous email. It was just a hassle so I said screw it and created this account. I was almost a self-pay in Mexico, but lo and behold, I finally had insurance that covers the sleeve... so I didn't go that route. I have a few more appointments and then I'll be sleeved in either Dec or Jan. I just wanted to introduce myself and say hi. I have learned a lot from this forum and appreciate all of the help it offers. Laters
  16. I had my gall bladder removed in '08 and 2 of my little incision scars STILL itch like the devil.
  17. Just breathe and tell yourself that everything is all about to be a downhill roll. You got this!
