  1. A day, or a week? If you're losing your drive and doing it that many times a day....probably normal even off the liquid diet.
  2. I know this is corny but my youngest, Jolie, will be 17 in a week. She loves to go window shopping. She's perfectly fine not buying anything because she knows we have such a tight budget. I can not keep up. I have a spinal problem and end up going and sitting in the car. I hurt, am sweating my ass off and there she is being so supportive. "It's Ok mom, well look around next weekend". It is the same every weekend. This is the only real time we have for girl talk and I'm missing out. I need to get this weight off my hips and spine to lessen the pain in them.
  3. Good luck! I'm excited and happy for you!
  4. After 2 c-sections, gall bladder removal and getting my tubes tied I'm not even worried about the actual pain after surgery. Just leaks. I have this huge fear of having a leak. I have an awesome surgeon whom I trust, but that fear is so vividly present.
  5. Have you tried a different ppi like Protonix? I'd start there. I know Omeprazole just didn't cut it for me (I have gerd) and I refuse to ever go back to that.
  6. I was a huge night time eater with both seroquel and ambien. And it was like they invoke amnesia. I'd wake up and complain about dishes being in the sink and the kids would swear they were mine from in the middle of the night. My daughter said I even knocked on her door in the middle of the night and asked her if she wanted to share a pizza with me!! No memory of that at all.
  7. Well...let's talk about white poop. With my gall bladder not functioning at all I had white poop and felt like someone had taken a sword and impaled me from front to back. It was awful. Sounds pretty similar.
  8. Oh yeah... I'm in Oklahoma, but it should be the same for you and it took me a day or so to get approved. I called to get the bariatric center's packet sent to me to fill out and have them my Medicare info and it seemed like they called me back in a day and told me I was good to go and scheduled my initial appointment.
  9. Lol with Medicare it's just if you meet the criteria. Ifound a Dr I liked at a Center of Excellence (required) and they do everything. The only reason I have a wait is because my bariatric center -not Medicare- requires 3 NUT appointments a month apart. They also require you to watch their seminar, a sleep study, stress test, 1 physical therapy appt and a psych eval. I have all of those already lined up because they schedule them for you. Shazaam! Easy as pie! Or a protein smoothie, I guess...
  10. Good luck!! I bet it'll happen really soon!
  11. My sister thought she was at goal and had her TT... yeah, now she's wishing she'd have waited. She needs another one. I'll definitely be waiting after seeing how she lost more weight and needs another one. There is no way I'm going through that type of recovery twice.
  12. You need to go to your doctor's office today. I wouldn't even call for an appointment. I'd show up and they'd get me back there to see the Dr because they are not going to want potential patients to see a prior patient suffering. Bad for business. Go today and see what's going on. Keep us posted, hun
  13. Mmm. My friend brings me pickled okra. It's so good. I wonder if I'll still like it afterward.
  14. Pickle juice. Frozen into popsicles. Don't be a weirdo... well, too much of one :-p
  15. Mmm you can freeze it into pickle pops like popsicles when u want something like that.
  16. You know which part!
  17. That sounded bad and I don't know how to delete it
  18. I liked the word "rammed" mister! Anyway you know what I mean. I'm not gonna get one. Unless it's all glittery and pretty. Then I am.
  19. An ng tube is a nasogastric tube. It passes the throat and goes into the stomach.
  20. Does anyone need a medic alert bracelet so if they are ever rendered unconscious no blind ng tubes are rammed down their throat?
  21. No hair contact
  22. The hair pulling is almost as fun as the sex I'll just have to tone it down.
  23. Since reading about hair loss this has sort of freaked me out. Not that I'll be having much sex, but one never knows. Just sayin
