Today, I had BFST: 3|4 of an Egg mcMuffin, coffee, swiss chalet chicken for dinner, 1\4 dark, no potatoe, no fries, but had the multigrain ROLL and butter... oh and 1 glass of wine!! Itch is getting somewhat better, the prednisone pills are working!!! YEAH!!! Janet" when I come to visit in March I may have to bring my OWN towels, and sheets... and an UMBRELLA for the sun.. just can't be stupid about it anymore...

Hi girls; sorry Ive been MIA, still trying to get back into my routine at home.. Doctors this a,m. for some Prednisone pills for my allergic reaction!! thenthis aft. got a whole new set of nails.. SOLAR NAILS, they are more expensive... but so pretty and damn it I am worth it... as I am now back on my Food Plan and have already lost 1 lb of the 3 I gained on the cruis...So I am very happy with that. Food today, Pro bar, Chicken jerky bites, 2 coffees, 1 tea, supper was left over Turkey Dinner from last night OH YUM!! Then I made Peter some TURKEY WILD RICE soup... it was good, he had 2 bowls... I think he is glad I am back to do all the cooking!!! I`ll hve soup tomorrow.... This evening I`ve been getting caught up with all my GF`s they`ve been calling since I got home and just got around to returning phone calls tonight. Then it was time to get the rest of my Pictures up on Facebook... Tomorrow, going to see MOM and take her a mini photo album to look thru of my trip... she`ll like that... then Band rehearsal tomorrow night... Karla, listen to Janet... she`s right about the MOM thing, none of us had the MOTHERS THAT WE WANTED or NEEDED... we got what we got.. and its up to us to LOVE ourselves.. not regret what we didn`t get from them... does that make any sense?? ANd Ditto what Janet said, you are OUR family here.. and we all love and respect you.. you are such a talented and smart lady (ah, except for the vaccumming!!) So don`t forget that o.k.? Hi Phyl, yes Cancer is a HORRID thing. I think that by this day and age there should be a cure. Geez if they can put a man on the moon, live up in space... why can;t we cure cancer.... Or... is it just that CANCER is a moneymaker for so many companies!!! hummmm.... Food today: Protien Shake (started with scrambled eggs but they stuck), Protien Bar for lunch. then for Dinner I made a TURKEY, gravy, stuffing, mashed potatoes.... only had a Luncheon sized plate... and oh was home cooking good!!! YUM YUM, cant`wait until tomorrow for thew leftovers, Soups, Casseroles.... I missed it at Christmas. THey served Turkey one night on the cruise ship, but I figured... eh, Italians will NOT iknow how to Make a North American Specialty!!! I was right! LOL

Oh Karla; I hate when the post gets lost... have you heard any more about your Mom? I called my GF Janice when I got home, she had to have her right breast & lymph nodes removed first week of Jan. Cancer, the invasive variety... once she is done with chemo, rad. she is having her LEFT breast removed too.... just as a precaution. Its horrible... I wish I was there with her.. Janice and I have a long history of being there for ea other in ruff times. We are very different personalities, but her husband and mine were BFF`s since highschool... she ws great with me when I had my last Manic episode, came and stayed with me for the week, while Peter went to work.... she was a rock for me then. Her other dear friend is there with her right now , but going home to P.E.I. (Maritimes) on Wednesday, then shell be on her own again. O,k this is 2011, a brand new year... we have to get the Positive Vibes going again in our loved ones lives. It seems like everyones lives are touched with some crisis right now. I talked to my Mom this a.m.... she sounded aweful, but Pete said.... she was much worse when in the hospital... so each day is a bonus day.... I don`t know how much more her poor little heart can dish out.

Morning girls; I ve had a nice sleep 10 hrs in my own bed.... Ah that felt good... 2nd load of laundry now in the machine, and one CANADIAN Coffee is in my FAce!!! Oh its so nice to be home!!!! Little Bridget was so glad to see me that she piddled on the floor for 15 mins....!!! Didn't mind cleaning up that one. I am covered from head to toe with my RASH again... it must have been the laundry soap/bleach stuff in the sheets and towel on board and in our final hotel in Genova... God I am itchy!!! Took 2 reactine and have called my Doctor... will need a Rx for Prednisone to clear this up. Karla, Phyl is right... there is nothing you can do for your Mom, your siblings will just have to deal!!! Hey - did any of THEM come to nurse you back to health after your TWO surgeries!!! No guilt tripping for you girl...you just relax and heal. Janet; my those ranch bills and estate, I agree ... you should get something for your efforts!!! Hang in there.. Can't wait to see you guys in 8 weeks!! Wow, that will come up fast. LInda, I know you are lurking... so LOVE from all of us.... Stephanie; Good job getting back on the band waagon... we will all ber there with you. I have not gotten on the scales yet, I know I am up.. but that's o.k. When will I ever eat real Italian FOOD ever again???? Hi girls, still not home in Canada yet.... still sitting here in Genoa, waitng for Cathy to finish packing her bags!!! God, we;ve only been here 6 hours what was to unpack????argh!!!! Wish I'd said some prayers for you all while I was AT the Vatican!! ... Will be home tomorrow this time....ah.... it will be nice for sure..Petie is missing me.Turns out m y Mom had another heart attack but she survived and is at home once again... she is the REAL Everyready Bunny!!!! o.k. girls, I read all the pages..... whew you've really been junking it up while I was gone!!! LOL Stephanie; back - yeah... why did you ever leave? We have missed you so. I am sitting in a room in Genoa, Italy. Off the ship... its finito! Will be home in Canada by 4 p.m. local time.. It has been a great vacation, but I am home sick now... LOved getting off the boat in Genoa, it felt like HOME. This is a really beautiful country, and I can't wait to come to Italy, Greece again... Sicily- oh my it is so wonderful... Food onboard was a bit of a dissappointment. Could right volumes on that, but I won't bore you. Met some fabulous Whelsh People, and some funny Americans.... but frankly.... If I don;t see another German or Frenchman for a few years, that'll be o.k. by me!!!! THey are so damn rude. Push everywhere... I finally gave up lining up politly for things and told Cathy. Fuck it.... its Every Man for Himself..., when in Rome.... as they say. WE got off the boat quickly and effortlessly, they didn't lose our luggage!!! but alas our Poor Whelsh friends got theirs mislaid so that was our last SIGHT of them..... they were arguing in line again!!!! We hopped into a little cabe, our driver humped our bulging luggage up all the steps at thwe hotel so we tipped him 5 Euro(7 U.S) he almost kissed us!! LOL Hotel rooms are tiny by US/Cdn standards, but oh is it nice!!!!!! ANd its on dry land!!! I love Genoa!! did I say that already??? Letter from Peter says my Mom is home from hospital, she's had a heart attack and is weak, but is home and eating ... she says she's happy now that she's home... Peter will pick me up tomorrow at the air... it will be so good to HUG & KISS him.... I hope he brings Bridget with him....!!!!! Karla, I am glad your 2nd surg is behind you now.., now recovery full speed ahead. Ladies, I am going to have such stories to tell you.., hardly know where to begin. Trip was fab... although I will not travel again on MSC Mediteranean Shiping Company a.k.a. Mediocre Shipfood on China!!!! Dr. Cathy and I are still on good terms... yeah!! I was wondering if she'd get sick of me after 14 days! Haa,,, but this is HER laptop.... LOL She just had her 1st bath..., we actually have a TUB in the room whoo-hoo... funny how little things mean so much. Like STARBUCKS!!! FUCK I can't wait to have a REAL 12oz. cup of coffee!!! AMerican/Cdn style.... OMG.... espresso is good, but for 3 Euro each??? No wonder I had a bar bill..., my bar tab was as high as my pricw for the cruise.. id oh how will I hide that from Peter??? OH and Peter, how am I going to tell him I am going to Cali in March???? Will have to timew that between boink #1 and boink #2..... oh and a trip in July??? well thats not gonna happen... unless all you girls want to come up to Canada again???? I;d be happy to host you ALL... as would Peter... he loved your visit last time. Karla, you and Steph could drive in your motor home and pick up Linda along the way... omy gosh, I am sitting in the lobby of the hotel... to get wifi servcice..dosnt work in our room??? There is this little family sitting beside me on the sette... their 3yr old is jabbering away in Italian...does it ever sound funny... I can't stop looking at her... so cute... GOD I wish I knew wht she was rattling on about... it soundsbou SO interesting.We board our ship today, but not until this afternoon.. and Typing here, hoping it will bring on a BM... I know too much TMI but, alas that's what I am thinking about this morning. Karla, I have a superb pair of shoes that I brought from Canada... ALso bought the cutest shawl/sweater thing yest. I think it will be cold on the ship... About 45 degrees yest. nice for hiking around and up and down. PB'd on breaky this a.m... had to go back and drink yougurt thingys... they are good, probiotic I think... but really just guessing cause everything is in Italian... ha,ha,ha... calories, no clue!! but with all this walking and no snacking, I think I will be doing o.k. calorie wise.WHere is Phul?? Hi Ladies!! Its me Candic-a Mari-a.... in Genova, Italty OMG this city is beautiful.... so nice... on a hillside!!, downward to the marina area... HUGE port! Many marny ships dock here. We have Walked all day, my feet are killing me.. Genova is very hilly, many inclines,., just like on the treadmill...OMG we saw and went inside of Christopher Columbus's house today... so awesome!! Also we went into the twin Towers (ancient) built 1150 AD we climed to the roof top and got some beautiful shots from that vantage point.... so pretty.... But the stair climbing, oh was steep steps.... hurting Cathy's knees.... ha,ha,ha.,, She's been funny, weve goten along well so far.... she dosn't like all my pee stops, but what can you do...Oh Italy is so civilized...porcelain toilets.... ! Yeah, a major prerequisite for me!!!! This is the MOST beautiful city I have ever seen!!! Cant wait to board the ship tomorrow.., eating no problemo... not much I can eat/ had shrimp for dinner lst night, and veal scallopini... (its not breaded here :-( ) what were they thinking?? Cathty ate pasta, it looked delicious, I may attempt it tonight.... so much walking hahahaha... and steps OMword.. Phyl this is NOT atown for you to visit... the streets are practically boulders, layed as paving stones... very uneven underfoot... I was always looking down!!! Then I just about got hit by a car in the piaazza!! Cathy saved me from near diaster!!! GUy swore at me in Italian... Drank a bottle of wine yest..., very good... more needed tonight~!!! ha,ha Miss yiu girls.. Karla, I am glad you finally got some food into yourself,,,, keep it up o.k. Hi girls, just chilling at home tonight. I didn't feel like going out to the bar with Peter( he's playing in Rock Band) At Players in Barrie.. I just watched a crappy movie with George Clooney in it "THe American" ... don't waste your $$$ it sucked! But I am getting in my last snuggles with Bridget... gosh I am going to miss that dog!!! Got my bags packed, weighed etc.. I am just under the weight constraints.. so whew!! I am glad Earl is being nice today... that is no fun for Phyl~~~ Karla, you'll soon have your place back to yourself... ah... quiet eh?? Isn't it funny, when the girls are not around you miss them like crazy.... have em home for a few days and WHOAH, it gets to be too much. Yes, Karla take RANITADINE or ZANTAC you can buy it OTC , regular strength or Extra strength and it last for 12 hours a day... I drink a lot of coffee too, trying not to eat junk!! And it does make MORE Acid in your tummy, you could also switch to DECAF.... When I am out, instead of stopping any buying JUNK, I treat myself to a nice Low fat Latte, or some Sugarfree yummy Starbucks.. I am NOT giving THAT up!!!

Morning Girls; Off to go see Mom in a few minutes, but wanted to pop in here first... Thanks so much for the phone call last night Janet... It means a lot to me that all you girls care so much. You made me laugh and that was GREAT, it felt wonderful... after a day of stressing. Also spoke to Peters SISTER for over an hour last night, her DH walked out on her Christmas Eve.. so needless to say, there is a ton of family stress right now... and not a Damn thing I can do about any of it.....!! So I am going on my trip, and having a great time... my travel partner is bringing her laptop (dah) so perhaps Ièll be able to get on and check my email and LBT.... whoo-hoo... then I can give you all a travelog along the way!!! EMT's did an EKG and it didn't show anything bad... but they are taking her to hosp. just in case, to ck her out... So I guess I'm not working this aft. and will be meeting her at the hospital to see whats going on. I am going to give it an hour or 2 before I go in... as she'll be having tons of tests done and they won't let me in at that point anyways... but gotta go in a bit. Please ladies, send up some prayers for my MOM. I dont' want her to be in any pain... CBL and let you know how things are. Candice

Janet, I leave on SATURDAY not sunday... Peter drives me to the airport early afternoon. Plane flys at 4:40 p.m. and arrive in Italy in the am.... 2nd Jan SUNDAY, Monday 3rd Jan, Tuesday we get onto the ship. SHIP leaves 4th Jan my Itinerary is: Day 1 Genova Italy Day 2: At sea Day 3: Katakolon, Greece Day 4`: Heraklion, Greece Day 5: Marmaris, Turkey Day 6: Alexandria, Eqypt (CAIRO) Day 7: at sea Day 8: Athen, Greece Day 9 : At sea Day 10: Palermo, Sicily ITALY Day 11: Rome, Italy Day 12: Genova, Italy then we have another overnight in Hotel in Genova, Ita ly,,,, we spell it Genoa, but in ITALIAN they spell it with a ``V`` as well...??? Dont know whats up with that...

Oh Phyl, I am so DAH!! I do remember you telling me now that you were leaveing on SUNDAY rather than the Monday because of traffic. I am glad you had both your girls together to enjoy Christmas... We drove to Toronto to see the kids and Bryan`s family... nice dinner out, but I couldnt`hardly eat anything... CHinese food... I was so embarrased as I only brought her a box of Swiss Chocolate (she`s tiny and can afford the calories!!!) she gave me a Purse... brown/white FUR and leather purse... its interesting... but have NO idea where I`d ever wear it.. Peter says , keep it away from Bridget .... she might get mistaken and try to Mate WITH IT.!!! Bryan`s Aunt gave me a bottle of wine, as well as his sister.... guess they know I`m a PROBLEM DRINKER!!! lol Had a nice long chat with his mother... she and I are becoming friends... She even invited me to go to Vietnam with her next winter....!!! Very nice of her to offer... but I don`t know about THAT trip... Bryan left Vtnam when he was 8 yrs old and has NEVER been back... there must be a good reason... Karla, so sorry your tummy is acting up.. O.k. I am finally packed!!! It wasn`t easy! Not enough room in one suitcase for 2 weeks!!! Oh yeah, and My Hubby says last night.. some remark about Not being invited to go on this cruise... WTF.. this is the guy who last year when I mentionend going south in the winter... ``Òh I hate travelling, why don`t you just go with one of your friends!`` I was sô pissed with him at the time.... so this year I did... Just proves that when living with Men, you can NEVER win...... If I`d have begged him to come to Europe with me.... he`d have whinned and moaned about it before hand... Oh I`ll miss band gigs.... whatever!!! I am not going to let him spoil my trip. He`s had 3 months to express himself about not being invited, and he picks a telephone conversation with my Daughter to whine about it. ARGH!!! And so why did he give me $500 us spending money to go with???? Oh he makes me nuts! So colouring my hair as I type... ooooh, its cold with that clammy stuff on my head. Getting my nails done at 10a.m. then we are off to the kids place this afternoon...can`t wait!! What are all you girls up to today»???
