I am getting some re-inforcements tonight. A friend of mine does Hypnosis and she is coming over to give me session. It has helped before, so I need all the oomph I can get. 6:42 starting to get hungry... I have a frozen WW chicken parm. to eat for dinner.. ... then thats' it for today's CALORIES :rose: ooh, weighed 180 this a.m. YUK, I put a calandar up in my bathroom above my scale, so I could record my weight each week and keep on track of my 1 pound per week goal.. Maybe if I have to LOOK at it all the time... it'll stick. Hubby away this week on business so I don't even have to cook suppers... I can just eat WW frozen thingys all week and drink protein shakes at work.

O.K. I'm b ack. Made a cup of tea, and my cals today so far are CALORIESCARBSFATPROTEIN784,102,22,45 Now that's not great but I still have 250 left for dinner. I wrote out my GOAL today, weightloss wize. I have 7 mos. until my DD's wedding in Oct. Therefore if I lose 1 lb. per wk I can be down 28-30 lbs... which would be a great way to whittle away the lbs. towards my ultimate goal. But if I break it down into smaller goals it'll be achievable. So here I go again... How many times have I re-started this program since banding? Ugh, I give up... just still trying.. I have to get it right sometime.

Janet, Your Aunt is a Doll!!! We have a holiday here too its called FAMILY DAY... guess the government felt we all needed a lONG Wkend between New Yrs and Easter!!! Its a long cold winter blecht! Stephanie is right old dirty yucky frozen snow looks pretty bad after awhile. Yesterday it was dry, sunny (cold) but a nice day all in all. I drove to visit my Mom in her seniors residence. Man she was doing really well. Watched a Golf Tournement while I quilted... When she is watching golf, she transforms into her YOUNGER self and is quite animated. It was fun to hear her talking about her 15 handicap!!!! As she hasn't golfed in at least 10 yrs... but she still recalls it all very well and knows all the pro's Names and Handicaps... I am bummed, my DD never called for Valantines day!!! I know she is busy but geez, she coulda called her Mommy

Oh my gosh Phyl; that reminded me of the time my Great Nephew (4 at the time) asked me when I was having my Puppies????? All my family laughed their asses off but it hurt like hell... *My dog was expecting puppies at the time and I guess our abdomens looked very similar

Hi Melissa; I can sympathize with your delema. I was banded 1 1/2 yrs ago and I am too a C.Overeater. The LAPBAND is around your stomach and NOT your head. Therefore, you must work your OA program in combination with the lapband. The lapband will make it easier to eat smaller quantities of the "right" food, But caution! Sugary, Greasy foods SLIDE right thru the band and you can still eat them. Cookies, pies, Icecream, Fried chicken, F.Fries etc... so don't expect the BAND to stop these foods from going in... they will!!! Its refered to as "eating around the band".... Even after spending $16,000 on my band I STILL have trouble with the Head Hunger (for junk)... The band is a "tool" in the weightloss arsenal, not a CURE! Best of luck Peaches

No way would we ever tell you to shut up Janet... your post was exactly what I needed to hear too. I've been "poor me'ing" myself all week too. OH poor me, I have to work 5 days a week for the next month. OH poor me, I've got to train another girl at the clinic, OH Poor me its still cold as hell here in Feb.., OH poor me I have hemeroids....God I am pathetic, "I" wouldn't want me as a friend right now.....blecht! Awh, Stephanie I hear you!!! We must be going thru the SAME thing... food wise.... I keep trying everyday to post my food on Sparkpeople only to over due it later in the day.. Work has been frustrating, so that's part of it I think. We should start a pact, seriously... I NEED ACCOUNTABILITY, big time... Hi Gang, just a quick post to let you know I am fine. I've been busy at work, 2 girls quit last week!! I have been lax at my food charting too, and I have a gain.:thumbdown: Today I got off my ass and took TWIG for a long walk, that's the first time in a L O N G while... I've been lazy when I come home from work. Gotta change that! As I have no energy and I am pretty sure its from lack of exercise on a reg. basis... Otherwise I am fine, Mom is fine too.. DH is so sweet he made me a "candle light" dinner on Friday when I cam home from work... Sweet eh? HUGS, C

Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ) is the closest airport to me... its 1 +1/2 hrs away by car.... so I could pick you up or you could take the SHUTTLE $50/trip. Having a lazy day today, did some work on one of my quilts and then some grocery shopping. Oh yeah, yesterday 2 part-timers quit at work.... oh boy the joy continues!

That insomnia is a real drag! I get that too sometimes. When I have "Planning ideas" on my mind I get up write myself a TO DO list and then have a warm cup of milk and go back to sleep.. I always change beds, then I am sure to drift off.... I think I may have been "goldie locks" in a prior life. Oh did I tell you that I went to a Psycic when I was in Vegas???? It was way cool, I kept an open mind and she told me stuff that was absolutely true about myself. ALso had Hubby down to a tee as well. The only thing she said that I don't buy is that "Get your brakes on your car checked" I "see something about a car".... (huh) Anyways, she knew all about my Moms health issues and gave me some good advise. It was worth the money!:redface:

If I didn't have my two breaks going south this winter I think I would'a gone MAD!!! I have wool socks on, slacks, turtleneck shirt and a polarfleece sweater over that...
