Will anyone ever notice my weight loss?
It sounds like to me you are doing an amazing job. You keep losing weight at that pace and everyone will be noticing. Wow!!! You just keep your chin up and remember why you got banded and you will get to your goal.I'm proud of you and you should be proud too!!!!

Encouragement needed...
Magnolia the first 6 weeks after being banded is for healing. Also your body has had to make alot of adjusting to your new liquids only the last couple weeks. It is in shock. Be sure your getting enough protein and you may want to even increase your calories a bit with another protein supplement because it could be that your body just isn't getting enough calories. It takes a little time for your body to get use to your new eating. Give it time and don't get upset. You will see the pounds start coming off again and once you get a fill that will help too. You are a normal bandster at this stage and lots of others including myself hit that 2 or 3 week platue during the recovery stage. Hang in there. Your doing great.

How much weight has everyone lost?
I'm down 33 in 3 months since I got banded! I lost 13 pounds in 2 months right before I got banded so I'm down 46 pounds in all.

Funniest Things Your Kids Have Ever Said
I was moping my kitchen floor one day and my little girl who was 4 at the time came in from out side and said "Man it smells moppy in here"!!!! I just thought that was so funny.

Calling all March 05 bandsters!
I lost 13 pounds before being banded(highest weight was 265) I was banded march 18th (weight 252) 1st fill 4/25(weight 238) 2nd fill 6/20(weight 220) I'm down a total of 32 pounds since I got banded I've lost 45 pounds in all

Mississippi Bandsters!
OMG I live in Byhalia Ms. I know 2 more bandsters on the board from this same area. 1 from Southhaven and 1 from Horn Lake. You girls should speak up.... pizza? gotta know
I can't eaat pizza. Every time I try it it gets stuck. Even if I chew really well and eat slow. It just feels like I have a big hunk of bread stuck.

Coffee
I drink 1-2 cups of coffee in the morning. I have no problems drinking it since banding. I LOVE MY COFFEE!!!!!!

When was it for you?
Christina I could finally sleep on my stomach about 3 weeks after being banded. I had to sleep in the recliner for the first week after. Its hard to get any rest when you can't get comfortable. Hope each day you get feeling better. I just so happy your in band land!!!!

So glad you have such a wonderful suport system. You are going to be so glad you got you r band and it will change your life in ways you never dreamed of. I've only had my band a few months and I already feel so different then I did on any diet because I know I will nnot gain the wight I've lost back. Good luck and congratulations on getting your surgery date.

Congrats Jen! Go stock up on liquids and mushy foods for post op. Protein drinks bottled Water popsicles pudding Jello Soups broth gasx heating pad liquid adult tylenol Good luck I hope you have a speedy recovery.

Today is my first fill
Glad you got a fill without any problems. Just take it easy and chew things up really good. You never know when that fill will kick in and cause you to get that stuck feeling. Watch out for bread/ dry meats/ ect.. Hope you start losing some weight with the fill.
