Two Year Bandiversary!!!!!

Hi Everyone,

Today is my two year bandiversary!!!! I was hoping to be at goal today but I had a very long plateau and a slight weight gain due to the fact that I quit smoking in preparation of plastic surgery in August. So now I have six weeks to get to the 170's!!! There are lots of things I want to share, but many of been said by other tenured bandsters here on this board. The most important change in my life is that I can do most anything!!!

I fly airplanes regularly, go to theme parks and do all the coasters, go to Water parks, play with my kids and chase them around and I have lots of energy!!!

Plastic surgery is the last part of my journey and then I need to maintain my losses. The one thing I have found is that if you really want to gain weight with the band, it is quite easy to do so. No matter how long you are banded, you have to stick to the plan. meat and fish first, then veggies and last carbs if there is any room left. And exercise is so important. No matter how big you are, it is possible to get exercise if you really want to do it. NO EXCUSES!!! LOL

SO today for my second bandiversary, I am going to see my plastic surgeon to finalize all of the details of the procedures that he will be doing tag team with another plastic surgeon. I am having an abdominoplasty, medial thighplasty, breast augmentation with implants to help my saggy boobs! I am excited, but also nervous. It is anticipated that my surgeon will remove about 14 lbs of excess from my stomach and thighs. Yucchhh! But hopefully the results will be worth the pain!! I am scheduled for transformation on august 3rd. I changed the date from June 15th cause I am moving, packing and in the process of building a new house, so the June date didnt work.

I want to thank everyone who has offered me great advice over the last two years!!!!

Congrats Babs!

You have done an amazing job with your weight loss. You have been a great inspiration to all of those following you.

I am looking forward to seeing some pictures of your PS, I hope you plan on posting some.

Good luck with your journey to the next step. :D

Congratulations Babs

Happy two-year bandiversary, you have come such a long way! I remember watching your vidoe at Lisa's and couldn't believe how big you were.

A great big YAH! it's so hard to stop smokeing, wishing you the best outcome of your PS.

Congrats on your 2 Year Bandaversary! :D I am being banded next Thursday and cant wait to be on here saying these same things. I too will need a bunch of PS and cant wait to finish that up. Good Luck to you and keep us posted on how you are doing.

Last year's bash was so crazy that I never got to see the movie, and I'm sorry for that. I was stretching my attention in too many different directions, which is why this year I can't offer as many rides - I need to be home for my friends.

I'm living vicariously through you, because only in my dreams could I afford plastic surgery. If I could do the surgeries you are sheduled for then I'd be happy with my weight the way it is.

Good luck. Do you have a caretaker for post-surgery? I would offer but I'm so far away and can't take off of work.

Wow, your are doing so great, I am so jealous I want all that platic surgery done on myself when I get to my goal. One question, if your boobs were big and now they are smaller and sagging will the doctor just use implants to put them back up??? I was a 44D before my surgery (243.5) and now I am a 40C (208) my goal is still 48 pounds away will I need a left also or will implants be enough to help with the sagging???

Hey you, I remember seeing your video. It was amazing then how much weight you had lost. I can only imagine what you look like now. I can't wait to see you again. WIll you be healed enough to come to Vegas in Sept if you have surgery in Aug? I hope so.

Hugs sweetie

Congratulations!!! I too remember the video. And after seeing you again with your boys, I can definitely see why you enjoy the amusement parks with them. They are just wonderful. Congratulation also for selling your house (even though I absolutely loved it).

I have my PS consultation in September and plan the surgery for December. I'm exercising like mad now and trying to be a good bandster to lose my last 20 pounds. I've fluctuated up and down 5 since last August.

I can wait to see the results and will definitely be sending you positive thoughts.

Babs You are a great success!!!! You are living proof that the band works if you do your part. AND YOU HAVE!!!! Good luck with your PS and coming to your final destination in your weight lose journey congrats to you!!!!

Babs I too remember seeing the vidoe and it is amazing how far you have come. You look fantastic and will look even better Iam sure after al lthe plastic surgery. What a huge milestone you have accomplished, Iam so happy for you :)
