  6. What you are feeling is normal but you deserve to be healthy for yourself and your daughter, the benefits that you gain from being healthy, the mobility as well as the energy that you gain is so well worth it. I am 3 months post opt and I would do my surgery 100 times again. The energy that I have as well as I am off all medications was so worth it, I now can exercise 5 days a week at the gym, something I could have never done prior to surgery as well as I am wearing dress's again something that I have not done in 18 years. You got this stay focus and positive and if you are still having second thoughts after your procedure seek out a therapist sending you prayers, easy recover without complications. Keep us posted on your progress.
  7. Congrats I know how you feel I was a type 2 diabetic and was taking 6 shots a day after my surgery on the day I was release I was no longer a diabetic keep up the great work.

  9. I have been drinking Protein drinks for a year now I started drinking the pre-opt while going though my 6 month pre opt supervised weight lost prior to my surgery , I drink a Protein Drink everyday now and probably will be drinking one for the rest of my life. This gives me 30 grams of protein a day which is a big boost toward my goal. I would buy to many pre-opt because your taste buds will changed, I too bought the unjury as well as unjury chicken noodle Soup and i cant drink it now unless I force myself. Good luck and keep us posted on your progress.

  15. Hi I had my husband and my children helping me but honestly if you have no complications you can do it on your own I sent my husband back to work the day i got release from the hospital which was was two days after having surgery i could shower by myself and get up and walk around to prepare my food. I would prepare my home with the foods that you need and as long as you have a phone and no complications you should be fine, because I could have went back to work 1 week after of surgery . Good luck my friend and most clinics have 24 hour aftercare hotline you can contact if you have any questions after your surgery.

  24. Hi I would cut out all paste , how much Protein are you getting in as well are you getting in 64 ounces of Water? Your lost has been great You are getting in enough exercise so thats not the problem. If you are meeting all of the above I would ditch the Pasta for a Protein shake. Good luck my friend and keep us posted on your progress.
  25. First congrats to everyone for making the choice to be healthy, it is very important that you record everything you eat so that if you have stalls or problems you know what it is. Using myfitnesspal is an excellent tool to track all food I have been using it now for 1 year. I never go over my calories as well as I know exactly how much protein I have consumed as well as water intake. Make sure you are getting in your 64 ounces of water as well. Just like an early post your taste buds changed, and I am now addicted to exercise and work out 5 days a week for at least an hour and my two off days I walk.
