Weightloss during Pre Op Diet

I started my two week pre op diet on Friday and as of this morning I have lost 9 lbs. Just wanted to know if this is normal to be losing so much weight so rapidly? I was told I would lose 20-30 lbs but if I keep up at this pace I will lose about 56 lbs.

Dr Garth Davis @ The Davis Clinic in Katy. Do you know where Memorial City Mall is? It's right across from there. Let me know if you need any other info. GL!
