  1. Guys, why are you talking failure after only a month? Honestly what were you expecting? You have both done really well considering you haven't had a fill yet. Be proud of what you have lost. Don't morn what you think you should have lost.
  2. Honestly, you are doing exactly what I would suggest. Having an endoscope. Best of luck on Thursday.
  3. I can't say that I have had any real issues with my band. Like Boo, my biggest problem was keeping my clothes from falling off, now it's finding an Aussie size 6. Those buggers are hard to find!
  4. Let me start by saying at one month post op, it is way too soon to be declaring failure. And if you are failing with 5.2kg lost in the first month, I must have failed too. Because I lost only a touch more than than that in my first month. It was only after my first fill that the loss really started happening. Take the appointment. Get the fill. Work on your eating and exercise. Enjoy your life. Sam.
  5. All the time. I honestly don't think about it a lot any more.
  6. Awesome! Congrats on no longer qualifying for surgery!
  7. What can't I eat? People. Lambs tongue (yick) Cars & Buildings (although I am yet to try, I am just assuming I can't) Lots of things. What I can do, is eat most things that are healthy, in moderation. I prefer to concentrate on what I *can* eat rather than dwell on what I can't. Makes for a happier person. That said, what people can and cannot eat always differs. Best of luck.
  8. My honest opinion is to wait. In my experience (and this is just mine) my boobs got so much smaller within the last 20lbs. They just disappeared. I went from a good FF cup, to a DD overnight (it felt like it anyway) You might find this will not be the case for you, everyone is different, but I would wait.
  9. I will post in the "before & After" thread when I have had my hair and make -up done. I am going to the theatre on Friday night with DH (hence the hair make up and fancy pants), I will get the boy-child to take some photos, that pic was just for me to "see" what the suit looked like on. Now I am blushing! Thank you! The 0cc fill is just so I stop losing. At this stage, I am a pretty strict vegetarian, and the majority of my favoured foods are very bulky, and by nature low fat and calorie. Add to that the running and other exercise. I am at a point where I don,t want to lose any more weight. I weigh on a good day 49kg / 107lbs, and that is the low end of a healthy weight for my height. We tried taking the fill out 0.5cc at a time, but I was still losing, so it all came out, and at this stage, I appear to be maintaining. I must say, I do feel all special now, having been "called out" like this!! Thank you!
  10. Thank you! And welcome again.
  11. Many thanks! I am glad that I could be of some inspiration. Farax was one of my first mushies! LOL, I remember that "meal" well! I honestly don't know how I fed my son that garbage. Maybe it tastes better with breast milk? Don't get too baby food happy. You will find that a lot of regular foods will purée very well, and will be far more appetising than baby foods.
  12. Would I do it again? A million times yes. I don't think it has changed me, if I am truthful. Sure my stomach is flat, but other than that, I am still the same person I was when I had the tuck.
  13. A huge hello from Brisbane!! And congrats on the big decision.
  14. I really have no idea. I live in Australia, and things work a little differently here. Can you search online for local doctors?
  15. Oh, and I hate to add this part, but I must! Shoe fetishes are not cured by weight loss. Just ask my credit card!
  16. Perhaps it is time for a new GP? Someone more supportive? Best of luck.
  17. A big hello from Brisbane!! Congrats on the 14kg, and being banded!
  18. I am sure a lot of people care Edie. I am glad you are out enjoying your life!!
  19. People do get to goal weights that put them within their healthy weight. Despite starting out with a fairly high BMI, I still got down to a healthy weight for my height (some would argue that I am almost too thin), and have maintained it for almost 14 months. It can be done.
  20. I pick me. I am a star in my own mind anyway!
  21. Uhh. No I cannot see my band. I am at about 107lbs, and I can only *just* feel my port if I stand the right way, and try to find it. I my gut (pun intended) tell me he might be trying to talk you out of banding.
  22. I have 0.0CC in a 4cc band, at 31 months post op.
  23. Was a 28 HHH now a 6 DD.
  24. Before, after, and a couple of months ago. And the scar a few months ago (I can't find the one I took at 12 months post op, this was at about 9 or 10 months PO, the colour of the scar has faded since then)
