  1. Any chance of getting back on the Metformin? Have you had your insulin and sugars checked of late?
  2. Absolutely! Thanks to Alex, and to everyone who contributes to make LBT the outstanding community it is!
  3. When I started running over 2 years ago, I did a very modified C2K (meaning I skipped weeks here and there, and really did my own thing to a degree) (I will use my DH as an example because he started running far more recently than I did) After close on three years of "power walking", my DH started running just before Christmas, we tried the C2K on him... He didn't do well with the structure. He needed to be able to do his own thing, so we ran for a s long as he could, then walked till his heart rate dropped, then we ran again, then walked, then ran again, till there was no walking in there at all. He says it really helped him to have someone there to keep him motivated when it got rough. So perhaps you could try to find someone to run with when you are ready to start running?
  4. Banded a wee bit over 3 years ago, feel fantastic, and have kept the weight off for just on 22 months now with very little effort.
  5. To be fair. She may have lost 20lbs in the first week, and she might well carry her weight better than the average overweight/obese woman. But her attitude sucks.
  6. Good Lord. Talk about beating a dead f'ing horse.
  7. I highly doubt she lost that sort of weight in a week. And if she did lose that sort of weight in a week, she must have quite a high start weight.
  8. That horse is dead honey, and it doesn't deserve the beating you are giving it. If you are "suffering from malnutrition and low potassium" like you said in another thread, YOU ARE TOO TIGHT and need an unfill. If you are "spitting up" like you said in that same thread only yesterday, YOU ARE TOO TIGHT and need an unfill. Why is this so hard for you to understand?
  9. You both realize that you are both WAY too tight if you are "spitting up". And by being too tight you risk slippage, erosion and malnutrition.
  10. I wanted to be athletic looking, yet feminine. I think I got what I wanted.
  11. Better Ideal Weight Body Calculations That one isn't bad.
  12. Dumping in a RNY patient (from my understanding) is when sugars enter the blood stream too quickly, causing nausea, vomiting sweating and diarrhea. Because a banded person's anatomy is intact, specifically the intestinal tract, we don't experience dumping. What you went through was likely caused by the LemSip, but I highly doubt it was dumping.

I have no idea what you are talking about. Do you have any idea how to cook cats so the fur doesn't tickle my throat?
  14. I have big hair.
  15. I found the least disgusting way to get protein was to eat it in whole lean foods.
  16. It's got nothing to do with age Lauren. She is just a spiteful person. I have found people of all ages who are just the same. I am willing to bet she has self esteem issues. And I am not a betting person.
  17. My tramp stamp looks pretty well exactly the same as it did when I got it. I will try to dig up a few photos of it before and now if I can.
  18. I think you are a dick too, and I'm fairly young, and and quite thin :cursing:
  19. A PM for the Aussie who just woke up with the flu would be nice. KTHXBYE
  20. Followed shortly by the dignity.
  21. I blog on blogspot. Link is in my signature.
  22. Ask your GP if they know of any good surgeons.
  23. Anyone who does their own fills, or lets someone who is not qualified to do fills to work on them if a fool.
  24. Although I am over three years out, I am not sure I am going to be of any help because I don't measure my portions. I never have actually. I just eat healthy food, and only eat till full and not beyond.
