  1. HAVE YOU GAINED WEIGHT AFTER YOUR SLEEVE. Hello everyone. I haven been on this forum for quite a while. I was sleeved back in June 2012. I had the lapband revision to sleeve. So far I've lost 45lbs give or take. My starting weight was 216. I lost my first 20 very quickly but from there on its was like pulling teeth.LOL. Anyhow a year to the day I had emergency gallbladder surgery and had to stop working out for a few month, gained a couple of pounds I was able to loose them again. For the past year and half I had endured Iron infusion for my low iron and hemoglobin. In December my OB/GYN decided I needed a total hysterectomy had the surgery done December 19 again had to stop working out and again gained roughly about 10 this lbs I haven't been able to loose it. I'm very worried and upset that I will be gaining more and more. I'm back working out and I'm very careful with what I eat and nothing scale won't move I know I haven't lost inches either because my clothes still fit tight. Everyone keeps telling it's because of the last surgery and that I look fine. It's sad because I don't like what I see in the mirror. And upsetting because I've put my body through so much and I don't want to be I vain.
  2. OMG! Me too, I was sleeved in June 2013 and almost to the year in May had a massive attack and had emergency surgery to have it removed. Yes you want to make sure you watch what you eat ( high fat or fried foods will do numbers on your stomach). But I eat everything and I'm doing fine. Good luck

    Scales moved the wrong way!

I'm in the same boat, I was sleeved 13 month ago, I've only lost about 52-55 lbs, I haven't lost any weight since December I go from loosing two to gaining two. I have lost a lot of inches because I'm very active I walk 5-6 miles a day and also cross fit trained. In the past few weeks I've gained about five pounds, and I know what is causing it stress and snacking. I use my fitness pal app and realized I was consuming a lot of carbs and it was all in snacking( healthy snacks but high in carbs) I too worry because like you said the pounds can creep up and I don't want that to happen. My doc told me to try doing liquid for about a week to kick star my weight loss. I'm going to try it this week, fingers cross this would help. I still have about 20-25 more pounds I want to lose. GOOD LUCK

    Gallbladder

I was sleeved in June last year, and I started experiencing symptoms almost right away, I didn't know what it was and waited almost a year until I for an attack and had to go to the ER ended up having emergency surgery. I'm doing better since my surgery I may, no more pain or heartburn. Keep an eye on it and listen to your body, don't do what I did. Good luck

    Heartburn I think

I've been off the site for sometime now, but just want to give you a quick update. Well it turns out my heartburn was non other than my gallbladder. I had emergency surgery in May. Doing much better now. Thanks for attempting to diagnosed me. Lol
  11. I'm a year out this past June, and I too find my self having trouble loosing weight. I've read a lot of the comments left for you and realized that I'm eating too much fruits. And sugary things. I workout out a lot, I've lost tons of inches but only lost 52 lbs in a year. I only want to lose another 20-25 but OMG This are the hardest I haven't lost any weight since December. I'm gonna try to follow what everyone is saying, cutting all carbs and eating less fruits. Fingers crossed. GOOD LUCK. Don't get discourage any weight lost is a success
  12. I'm one year out, I had 13 more pounds to goal. I've lost 52 lbs, I have lost tons of inches. I went from a size 14-16 to a 6-4 . I workout everyday and tried to be mindful of what I eat. I had Gallbladder surgery a month ago. I've recently stared gaining weight and I'm so worry, it's not a lot 7lbs I'm afraid that's how it's start and I gain all the way back. ( literally crying) I don't know what to do. Has anyone gained the weight back or gained weight. How did you loose it. Help please
  13. I had surgery almost one year a go, and almost instantly I started getting this weird pain in the pit of my stomach, when I spoke to the doctor we thought it was something I ate or maybe eating sweet. Well long story shirt I kept getting the pain periodically on and off, well this last Wednesday the pain wouldn't go away and after four hours decided to go to the ER and it turned out to be my gallbladder. Had it removed yesterday and home today. Never would I had thought it was my gallbladder my pain was always to my left side. Thank GOD I'm home now and now I know what was wrong with me.
