Surgeons in the Dallas, Plano, Frisco (Texas) areas that you love?
Bummer. He is really good. Do you have a list of who is? Maybe posting that will help and folks that used that Dr could report thoughts on them.

Interesting article on changes when you lose half your body weight
I always had that mind set as well. Now if the clothes are lose on me I will not wear them. Its has to fit to my body. When I have a lose shirt on then I feel like I am fat again. SO Strange....

When can you use a straw?
I was told never again and I have stuck to it. All docs are different in what they ask of the patient though.

What fitness related EVENT are you training/preparing for?
Ahh good topic!! Did my first duathlon in April and below is what I am signed up for so far for the remainder of the year. May 24th Running in Rock The Block 5k in Plano Tx. It is about 7 miles from the house so I am riding my bike to the event, running, then riding the bike back to the house. June 21st Tour d Italia in Italy Texas. This is a 63 mile ride. I will likely do the 40 mile ride and not the full 63 this year. August 10 running the Chris Brown Duathlon in Tulsa OK. This is 5k run 30K bike ride and another 5K run. September 6th Foam Glow 5K Gran Prairie Tx November 9th Bronda's Du Texas Motor Speedway 2 mile run 16 mile bike ride then 2 mile run. Still trying to decide if I squeeze any others in between these. I think I need something in July like another long distance bike ride.

Raging against a Regain
I am betting stress as well so it is time to find something that will help relieve the stress. Looks like you are working out so that is good which is usually a good stress reliever. The only thing I am surprised at is how much you are able to eat. Looking at your log you are able to eat so much more than I can. Maybe it is because you are further out than me but it seems like a lot. I hope you are able to find some way of getting the stress out!

Weight Gained Since Having Gastric Sleeve Surgery
The good news is you know that you are off track and have gained. Now you need to figure out how you want to reset your mind so you can get back to losing the weight. Your sleeved so you still have the ability to lose. YOU can do it.

Men, does a woman's loose skin affect you at intimate times?
This is a really hard one for me to answer only because I have skin issues and because of that I wonder how the women would answer this as well. I think I lean towards what @@PdxMan states. For the most part it would not bother me one bit unless it was just really way out there on the loose skin scale.

What is your typical day?
Reading through the responses I think that the original too many Protein shakes and bars is the right suggestion. That being said everyone is different in what they can or can not eat to achieve weight loss. Most of you do really awesome with all of the low fat, low carb, low this, and low that choices. I on the other hand have not been this way through now the 1st year of my journey. I do not eat anything low. I really just eat the same types of food I did before but way less of it. This probably does not work for everyone but it has worked for me. I will spare the details on what exactly I eat on a daily basis as to not start a riot. LOL I just think our bodies are all different and respond in different ways to things.

I did a Duathalon!

What is your typical day?
That was my thoughts on the shakes and bars. @@lsu2868 might be getting more calories than needed through that many bars and shakes in 1 day. Depending on the ones you consume they have sugars as well. Stick to beef, chicken, and things like that. It will fill you up faster as well.

What is your typical day?
In looking at what you are eating I would try to get yourself off of the Protein bars and shakes. Add things in like yogurt and string cheese for snack in between meals. Maybe some nuts and things like that. I have not had a protein bar since before surgery and a shake since about 2 months out. I would bet if you start getting more protein from regular foods you will start to see a difference.
