  7. Sorry you are feeling awful. I have read others say to walk, walk, walk. Feel better. This will pass.
  8. So sorry. I know the waiting sucks.
  9. I understand now. I have not had surgery yet, but I do think about these things too. I think what is keeping me focused is the end result. I have struggled with my weight all my life. At one point I did not want to take this route. I was one of those that thought this was the easier way out. Seeing so many succeed got me thinking. After reading SO MUCH, I now understand this will be hard. However, it will be the most rewarding thing I can do for myself. I will have this tool to finally get to the finish line. I am tired of starting and stopping with limited success. All those things you worry about I believe are really only the first year (Vets correct me if I am wrong). You will need to monitor what you eat and the quantity forever to have lasting results, but after all that is the intention. At least for me. Eventually you will be able to indulge if you wish, but your sleeve will always be there to help you control over doing it. I hope you decide on what is best for you. Either way I wish you the best. We are here to hear you out. xoxoxo
  10. What is causing your second thoughts; finances, liquid diet or other?
  11. I have not had my surgery yet. I am so excited to get this process started. This site has helped answer so much curiosity and questions. However, I NEVER imagined that so many from this site would participate in a thread like that one. Very discouraging to see this behavior. Well said Raymia.
  12. You look AMAZING! Not to mention you truly sound happy. Leave that negativity behind.
  13. Great progress! This is a good goal. I think I would like to do the same. I will need to see what my body wants to do once I start losing. Thanks for sharing.

  17. Hi All, I am wondering if after you had surgery your weight loss goal changed. I ask because I usually see woman post their goal at 160 to 170, but later loss much more. When I met with my surgeon he mentioned that he would not set a goal for me because once I start losing I will most likely change my goal. Just curious at this point where most of you started and how you progressed later. Thanks in advance for your insight and responses.
  18. Congratulations! My paper work was turned in Thursday. Waiting....
  19. Through your written words I can visualize this feeling.. I cannot wait to hear back from my surgeon's office! Pending insurance coverage. Thank you for sharing this. Truly motivational
