I called my insurance today to check on the status of my referral for the consultation with the surgeon, and the surgeons office never submitted it! So of course I called them she she lied and told me that she submitted it on Friday. Now I am a week behind schedule...

Nenna, I had the same thing happen to me, I met with my surgeon on the 3rd, they told me they sent it in on the 5th but didn't actually do it until last Friday! It's gonna be close but hoping to have the approval in the next week.

Hang in there, we're almost there! Keep on top of the insurance to make sure they have it and maybe they might speed up the review/approval.

Well what sucks for me is that I have to go through 2 approval processes. This one is only to see the surgeon for a consultation. I will still need to go through another approval for the actually procedure. ????
