  1. I got sleeved in December and am down 50 pounds so far. My problem is that I can't find a Multi-v that I like. Before the surgery, I was taking gummy v's but afterward they said I couldn't take them anymore. Can't remember why... Maybe because it contains sugar? I've tried the Celebrate chewable tablets because my Dr.'s office provided them but I couldn't keep them down. The chalkiness of it didn't sit well with me. I've also tried liquid and pill Multi-v's. I either almost choke trying to swallow the pill (I'd cut the big one in half) or spit up the liquid because of the taste. Any recommendations? I maybe just go back to the gummy...

    Pre Op Diet Suggestions

I started mine last week. Everything you listed was on mine except I get 1 cup of raw vegetables in the afternoon and I can choose between skim milk or light yogurt 3 times a day. Definitely check with your doctor for what you're allowed to have though. My surgeon's office sent me an email basically telling me what to have and when to have it (not including the additional liquids in between). Water gets boring sometimes so I know I'm allowed to have Crystal Light if I want too (haven't bought any though). Good luck on your diet and upcoming surgery!
  3. Friday, Dec 27! I'm so excited! The only thing I'm nervous about is that tomorrow is my pre-op appointment and my fear is that something is going to come up and postpone my surgery. Praying everything goes well tomorrow

kicked off of a fair ride....

Do you have a date yet? My PCP hasn't given me clearance yet because I'm low on Iron and slightly anemic.

kicked off of a fair ride....

That's my fear for parasailing, zip lining, and bungee jumping. I'm just gonna end up on the ground or not make it off the ground for parasailing... These are on my bucket list after surgery

I Want To See Before & After Pics!

Thank you for this thread and for those of you that have shared your before and after pictures. I'm pre-op (no surgery date yet) and get inspired when I see the difference. I can't wait for the day I can share mine too!

kicked off of a fair ride....

I live in Orlando FL near Disney, Universal Studios, and Sea World. I practically grew up riding roller coasters here. My most embarrassing moment was about 3 or 4 years ago when I went to Busch Gardens Tampa and couldn't get on one of the rides. I was with my sister and guy friend who I was crushing on at the time. I knew I had to do something about my weight if I wanted to go do the fun and adventurous things I wanted to do. I only learned about bariatric surgery this year and I'm currently pre-op with Dr. Kim at Celebration Hospital (no surgery date yet). I'm 23 now and plan on going sky diving when I reach my goal weight or for my 25th birthday (whichever comes first).
