  1. Mine would have to be Optifast! Tried is when it was the Oprah fad and lost weightbut when you have a normal size stomach it is a killer!! Needless to say I gained it all back just like Oprah did! I love my sleeve!!
  2. Don't beat yourself up! Just start a new day with a new resolve and move on. Try staying away from the carbs and the exercise will help get rid of water retention. You probably are holding some water. I can't imagine that there isn't a one of us that will go through this at one point or another. Move forward you will do yourself proud and your mind games will end. You got this!
  3. I have noticed an immediate difference with the Revita. It is a little expensive, cheaper on Amazon but definitely worth the money. My hair guy recommended it to me and has had people on it for baldness and their hair grew back. I will continue to use it and I do use the fish oil as well.
  4. Congratulations on your surgery! Hang in there each day you will feel better and better! Did you surgery order a nausea medication for you? If not, you might see about getting one. Getting liquids in is vital and don't forget to walk!
  5. I was eating them by week 3 but nothing like broccoli that was to fibrous for me then and I still haven't eaten it raw yet. I enjoy salad a lot and spent a lot of time at Panera or Subway getting the chopped salad.
  6. I was chewing them by then no problem!
  7. It's cheaper on Amazon than in a salon. I had him order it for me but I will get if off Amazon next time. I wanted to be proactive to avoid massive amounts of loss that I keep reading. He said it is the best stuff that he has ever seen. He has owned his own shop for years.
  8. I would definitely wait on this. A tattoo costs a lot of money as does the tummy tuck. You want optimal results on both.
  9. I am talking all day with my job and sometimes I need to take a GasX to help. This works for me.
  10. It's called Revita and it's for follicle revitilization. You can order it on Amazon. He swears by it and went to a weekend seminar on it. He has given it to other people with baldness and it has worked for them. He's a pretty knowledgeable person so I am using it. My hair is doing well with it.
  11. I have a very good shampoo and conditioner that my hair guy highly recommended. I was just wandering if it started full on with a lot of hair loss or gradually witha few hairs here and there. I just can't figure out if I have started losing hair or not because most of the time I lose the normal amount and 1 day I had a good amount and since then normal. Maybe the shampoo is working.....I don't know!
  12. I love that lemonade at Chik Fil A!!
  13. As long as it isn't carbonated you should be fine!
  14. It totally does get better.........I promise! What you are going through right now is completely normal and part of the process. Before you know it you will be past this and smiling really big at what you have done for yourself.
  15. I don't see anything wrong with that. Moderation is the answer to our new lives. Someday I hope to get my carb fear under control and enjoy this as well.
  16. I honestly haven't had any bread, pasta or rice yet. I am 3 1/2 months post op and I don't think I will even have any of it for a long time. A lot of people eat them with no problem and yet as many do have problems. I think you will have to try this to find out if you can handle it. Please keep in mind when you start adding carbs back into your diet they make you crave more of them. For me they are like alcohol to an alcoholic and I have to stay away from them. If you can handle them more power to you!
  17. Sounds like you had a terrific time and rocked your sleeve to the fullest!! Good for you I think you had a very healthy outlook and found a new freedom for yourself!
  18. I have a question. I am noticing a few more hairs on my desk at work or on my clothes. When I shower I may only have about 10 -15 hairs that I lose. The other day though I had handful........I looked at my hand and was shocked at how many I was holding. The next 2 times that I showered I only had a few. Is this the pattern for hair loss or is it a ton of every time you shower? I'm good with it either way it's gonna happen. I am 3 1/2 months out and have always gotten all my protein in but it is what it is.
  19. You have done a wonderful job losing 100 pounds! I hope to get there one day!
  20. You are looking terrific! Keep up the great work and the smile is wonderful!
  21. If you are wanting something low in carbs you can also make a lettuce wrap instead of the tortilla. Works if you are high on your carb count for the day.
