Tummy tuck?tattoo?

Question for anyone who has had a tummy tuck with a tattoo on their back side stomach etc. I want to get a tat on my side on Friday and now am wondering should I wait til after my tummy tuck? How will it look? Messed up. Ugh help

Personally I would wait. Just seems like it would be an extra thing that could limit how the surgeon sculpts the area.

I just got my tummy tuck two weeks ago, and I would suggest to wait till after you get yours. Depending on whether or not you need a full tuck, or just a mini....but I needed the full and my inscisions went all the way across to about the middle of my sides. I know that if I had a tattoo there that it would have turned out all mishapened. Good luck! :)

I would definitely wait on this. A tattoo costs a lot of money as does the tummy tuck. You want optimal results on both. :)

Yeah I'm thinking the same thing. Definitely don't want that ruined. Thanks everyone.

I had a tattoo about the size of a large orange on the front side of my left hip. I say "had" because after my tummy tuck I now only have the top half of two of my Iris flowers leaves and about 1/8 part of the top of the Iris flower. I will have to have the tattoo redone. My advice....WAIT!
