  1. I'm 10 months out and have counted calories only a few times and never counted protein. I was having issues with being light headed upon standing and found out I was dehydrated so now I drink more and I'm fine.
  2. I'm single and worried also about a man seeing pics of me heavy and being turned off. I don't have have a man and have no idea on how to get one but I guess it could happen. Anyway I've been so focused on being a mom to m my son that I've spent the last 16 years just staying home and doing stuff with him. Well he is out and about now doing 16 year old boy stuff so that leaves me alone. I've never been lonely. I talked to other single moms that say they are lonely and can't believe that I just stayed home and didn't care about having a man in my life. Well now that my son is older I totally get what they mean about being lonely. Now that I'm thinner and have way more confidence I'm always wanting to go places the problem is is that I don't have anyone to go with. My girl friends are all married with kids. My single friends want to hang at bars and I don't. I have no idea how to find a man. So although I love my new body I for the first time ever am lonely.
  3. I weigh every morning. I will continue to do that for ever. I would rather gain a pound and be able to work on that one pound then then wait a week gain 5. Then have to worry about getting 5 pounds off. I've had that happen my entire life first I was 5 over weigh then 15 then all of a sudden I weighed 318. I'm determined to say on top of it this time.

  6. No regrets for me! Worth every penny!
  7. Yeah it's amazing how different my life has been this summer compaired to last summer! I rode a roller coaster!
  8. Hello from Springfield! Good luck!
  9. I've had no problems. Can you emagine what people would be saying if we had all posted about our problems when we were heavy? A typical post would be-high blood pressure-feet hurt-back is killing me-sugar to high-knees hurt and on and on! Now that most of us have lost weight our complaints are mostly gone. I was actually pretty healthy when I was heavy but my god loosing 145 pounds makes me feel like a million bucks!
  10. I tell them I stopped eating so much and stopped drinking soda. That is the truth! I don't feel it's anyone's business what my medical history is.
  11. I was about 6 weeks out when I ate salad
  12. I can eat the toppings off one slice of hamburger pizza. No way could I eat the crust. I'm almost 10 months out
  13. I'm 9.5 months out and have been constipated really bad 3 times. So yesterday I decided that I was only eating prunes for lunch and dinner. It worked! Today I had success.
  14. thats great but not what my doctor said. I hope you are right though!
  15. I didn't. Someone posted a pic on Facebook the other day and I noticed I was in it. It was right before surgery and my god I could have died. I'm so ashamed of how I looked.
  16. Not sure what you mean. I have only in the last 2 months calculated my food. And that's only been a few times.
  17. Sorry to hear this. Have you always had trouble with alcohol or just since you got sleeved? I know someone who hated drinking but after she had gastric bypass she is now raging alcoholic.
  18. Yep I was the same way. After my first dr visit I ate like a pig on the way home.
  19. One night was enough for me. I was given pain meds to take at home but never needed them.
  20. I was 318 and I've lost 144 pounds in 9.5 months
  21. I'm 9.5 months and great! I do get some heart burn but I don't consider that a big deal
