  1. I figured you were smaller. I have friends that had the surgery and lost so much in the first week and month. I'm losing slower but my weight was less.
  2. You shouldn't even be weighing yet. You will not lose for the first couple of days bcuz of the fluids they gave you. And actually everyone gains a few pounds. After week one them start weighing in once a week or whatever you choose. Please do not get discouraged over that.
  3. I was sleeved on may 15th. The first two weeks have been hard but like I told my husband...past diets have been hard but we were able to quit. This time there is no quitting...so that's the hardest part. Dont let FOOD control your life. You now control what you eat. So do it with a smile. Dont complain about what you can't eat...rejoice in what you can eat.
  4. I'm 5'2 sleeved on May 15th. Starting weight was 205 (gained 10 pounds the month before surgery trying to eat everuthing i would never eat again lol). I'm now at 190. BMI of 35. Still losing about a half a pound a day. My goal is 130. Haven't weighed that since high school...but I know its possible.
  5. I may have some. I need to ho through my closet but I'm post op 10 days and losing. Was in a size 16 when I was sleeved. Wont be long ill be out of that size.
  6. I'm from LA. Lafayette. Had my sleeve done on May 15th in New Iberia. Everything is going great so far. Lost 15 pounds in 2 weeks.
  7. When were you sleeved?? I'm with you on this. Sliw metabolism and bad genes runs with me. Not an excuse but VERY true. I've always had a hard time losing and now that I'm sleeved I'm still having to watch every piece of food I put into my mouth. I don't lose if I eat carbs...Even if its just 300-400 calories a day. So soft foods have been hard on me. I basically stick to Protein shakes all day. I'm 10 days out.
  8. Ohhhh yea ok. Good luck with everything.
  9. Revision is doing the sleeve again??? Does it cost the same amount??
  10. Ok just making sure. I have lost 11 pounds which I was amazed at but its like 3 days at a standstill scared the poop out of me. Crazy how our brains are nuts!!! Thank you
  11. I was on May 15th. Everything is going great so far. I'm in second week and my Dr has me on thicker liquids this week. Just curious...I haven't lost a single pound in 3 days. Has this happened to anyone?? In my head I'm thinking this is just another diet (that I can't quit)...and God forbid if I wasted all that money. But I'm trying to stay positive. I kno I have a long road ahead of me. But I have a lot of friends that had the sleeve done in the last few months and they have all been steady losers...like An average of 2 pounds a day for the first 6-8 weeks. Any advice??
  12. I'm LA too. I live by Lafayette
