  1. Hi, I am 3 months post-op and I lost 40lbs so far. I haven't tried that many shakes yet but I am looking for a shake with the most protein/not that many calories per serving?
  2. I was the same way. Kept thinking and thinking and to be honest i wasn't even100% sure when they wheeled me to the OR. I am 5 days post op today and I feel fine, just a bit tired. But when it comes to experience with dr ponce and trish- I would do it again in a heartbeat. I drove alone and trish was there every step of the way.
  3. So I got sleeved 06/11. First few days were terrible, lots and lots of throwing up. Got my leak test done 06/13. It came back normal. But now I'm experiencing sharp pains around the left side of my belly button where the huge bruise is(from taking the stomach out). Could that be a leak?

  6. I had mine 06/11 as well. I am still here in the hospital and fell a little better today but the first night and first day... Oh dear lordy lulu... I thought I was gonna die. So so so much gas pain, kept vomiting all night, didn't get any sleep. Last night was better, being released today. Going to the hotel for one night and then off back to California. I am just really anxious about what's next...

  8. Thank you! So I am 27 years old, 5'7 and 260 lbs. My surgery is in mexico with dr ponce de leon. I asked his patient cordinator and she said nobody ever died and that he has done thousands of these surgeries. I guess my chances of seeing my husband and baby again are high
  9. Ok, I know this is not the question you might wanna see here... my surgery is this coming Tuesday and my worst fear is not waking up aka dying over there. Are there any stats on how many ppl ever died during this procedure? Or after?
  10.    NtvTxn reacted to a post in a topic: keep having feelings of regrets
  11. My surgery is 06/11 and my pre op instructions were water and yogurt 3 days before surgery. You guys have it way harder than I will... I guess I'm kinda worried if my diet isn't too "light"?
  12. I bought this (the name in title) today but now I'm reading that we need calcium citrate? This one is calcium carbonate. I assumed that its citrate (I was rushed by my screaming toddler) since its called citracal! So no calcium carbonate post op? What's the difference?
  13. Can I take a normal vitamin in a pill form? I am still pre op but trying to prepare all the stuff I will need after. Thank you.
  14. Costa Mesa, CA in Orange County. Surgery scheduled for 06/11 with Dr. Ponce de Leon in Tijuana, Mexico.
  15. What do you mean by saying tou cut 18 years of life?
