  1. I have roughly 100 days until my surgery. My body is worn out. I'm 270+ and my body is in pain. I have had a few surgeries during the past year and exercise was limited because of the types of surgery that I had. I actually gained 30 lbs in addition to my already overweight body. Wow ... 30 pounds has really made it hard to exercise without being in pain afterwards. I went biking for 45 minutes and now my Knees are screaming at me in pain. I lifted weights and my elbows are joining in with my knees. I'm so ready for this surgery. I feel bad for my husband because I'm consumed by this surgery. I know he will be glad when it's done too. So anyone having their surgery around Oct 2013?
  2. I'll have to look for Hood milk. Which store did you get it from?
  3. It's awesome to see people posting and having fun at the same time.
  4. I would discuss with your doctor, but I would think you don't want to get back on the diet yo yo. I've heard people stalling that long, but it's usually due to not getting the right amount of protein/water. My doctor told me that I will have to get 80 grams of Protein a day. I don't know if this helps.
  5. Wish I could say something to make you feel better.
  6. That is awesome. Glad you are recovering so quickly.
  7. Hopefully you can have it soon.
  8. My insurance doesn't care how overweight you are. You still have to have 6 months of physcian supervised visits. So if you are BMI 41 on Day 1 ... or if you are BMI 55 on Day 1 ... you still have to do the 6 months of physcian supervised visits. Don't get me wrong. I would love to have the surgery now, but I can't change it so why complain ... I'm just happy that in 6 months (well 4 months now) I will get to have the surgery.
  9. That sucks, but maybe a week of liquid diet will help?
  10. I can't wait to have my hubby pick me up without fear I will break his back.
  11. I really think that you will be happier with the surgery. I can lost 40 lbs, but I gain it back then lose it then gain back ... etc. I'm where I am in my weight because I can't get skinny so I'm having this surgery in hopes to fix that. I'm 38 and my body doesn't lose like it use to. I am even a vegetarian who has cut out sugar. I use Splenda. I don't have caffine and I still can't lose the weight. So this is the next step. This step seems to work for people who can't lose it any other way. I can do without the bad food, but my body still seems to stay fat. Best of luck!!!
  12. Did he say you weren't staying overnight? I've heard some say outpatient and still stayed at least one night.
  13. June isn't far ... Mine isn't until Oct. But I'm still excited.
  14. I wish I could, but if I loss too much before the surgery, my insurance won't approve me.
  15. I would love to test. I have a myTouch Slide.
  16. Wow ... amazing ... you are doing great.
  17. I'm currently the same size as you. I know that I will have to have this done after my surgery. Thanks for sharing and I really hope they don't take it down because I know other women will want to hear and see the results. You do look awesome thanks!
  18. I hope you are better. Thanks for the post.
