Everything's going to be just fine.

Soon you will be loosing pounds and giving out advice.

The best advice that I received at your stage were 3 things.

1. Take the anti nauseau meds before you leave the hospital even if you dont feel nauseau. (I did not do that and got REALLY sick) Zofran works well.

2. As soon as you wake up walk, and walk every hour, It helps keep the painfull gas away and lessens the chance for blood clots.

3. Sip, Sip,Sip, the best way to keep you from feeling sick is to stay hydrated. Even when you dont want too, even if you think you cant, sip water.

Your going to be so happy in a couple months, this will be a distant memory.

Best Wishes!

Best of luck

I'm a week out today, and felt the same as you, I was pretty sure my heart was going to stop before I got to the hospital. You are going to do great! The first few days a rough, but I didn't think any worse than having the lapband, the worst part for me was the nausea and wanting to down a bottle of water and only being able to sip, so that's what you do, just keep sipping and every day you'll get better! Good luck!!!
