  4. Finally hit ONDERLAND today!!!! I had been at 200.5 for 3 weeks!!! Woohoo!
  5. New before and after. SW: 250 CW: 202, sleeved 5/21
  6. When I went and saw my BS for my 3 month, he said you are doing way better than most people! You've lost 50lbs, that's incredible, you are eating well, exercising and look great, I can't ask for anything more. I asked him why I was losing so much slower than people on the threads, he said with some people they either have more to lose, so lose it faster, or didn't have good eating habits before. He said you didn't eat bad, you just ate too much. It made me feel better, and made me remember that we are all different and I shouldn't get so discouraged. Just thought I'd share.
  7. I'm also a slow loser, but I'm working out and eating well, so I have to have hope it'll continue to go down, I've been the same weight for 3 weeks.
  8. I'm the same way, but m working out twice a day, actually on the bike now. I was 250 on May 21st and am at 205 now, but now that I'm doing it right! You all are doing and look great!!!
  9. SW 250 CW 207 Losing slow, but working out and eating right, I don't care how I lose it!!!! Sleeved 05/21!!!
  10. I feel great, losing weight, finally. I felt so conflicted about getting another surgery, I felt I had failed the lapband, what's to say that I won't fail with this. And I was eating right and exercising, but I couldn't stop throwing up with the band. My surgeon said he knew how I could feel that way, but the band failed me. Not the opposite. The first few weeks of the sleeved life is hard, but I'm 5 weeks out now, and I feel great!
  11. I had a lapband, that was placed in 2010, I had tons of problems with it. Really the revision was a breeze. They took out the band, and did the sleeve, all in the same procedure, it was similar to the lapband surgery, so I was ready for the recovery.
  12. Revision to sleeve May 21st SW 244 CW 219.5 Good job everyone!!!
  13. I'm just wondering if anyone else has had really bad back pain? I'm really feeling ok, still tender but otherwise doing well, but my back is killing me. I'm not sure if I hurt it trying not to hurt my stomach, or just slept on it odd. Just wanted to see if anyone else has had this problems and can shed some light, or just tell me I'm being a big baby and suck it up cupcake!!!!
  14. I'm a week out today, and felt the same as you, I was pretty sure my heart was going to stop before I got to the hospital. You are going to do great! The first few days a rough, but I didn't think any worse than having the lapband, the worst part for me was the nausea and wanting to down a bottle of water and only being able to sip, so that's what you do, just keep sipping and every day you'll get better! Good luck!!!
  15. Tomorrow is my day, I'm so nervous, anxious and starving! Ready to be done, and on my road to a healthier happier me! Good luck to everyone else.
  16. Hey everyone, I've been stalking the VSG page for a while, but this is my first post. I went today for my admission paperwork, EKG, and blood work. My surgery is the May 21st. I am having my lap band removed and sleeve placed, my anxiety is through the roof. I know it's normal to feel anxious before a surgery. I guess I feel more nervous about failing the sleeve, like I did the band. I know I can't think that way, but I'm so creaking nervous. Happy thoughts, happy thoughts..... Good luck everyone.
  17. I agree, it really depends, Ive been a very slow loser, banded May 19, 2010 at 252 and am only down to 204 So don't judge your own success on anyone elses!
  18. Thanks for the support ladies, I hope my weight loss picks up soon.
