Upon request I am creating this thread firstly for all the May sleevers out there that are losing slower than others who were sleeved in May. But anyone who is wanting encouragement or even a thread to vent on about your slower weight loss than others please reply to the thread!

Surgery date was Feb 25th, 2013.

I lost 48lbs pre-op

and to date lost 43lbs post-op

It feels like I am losing very slowly...July-->October only 4 lbs... <_<

I guess this is why skinny people get so happy when they lose 5 lbs...it gets damn hard after awhile.

I've lost 33.5. My surgery was May 3rd. That includes my 4.5lb preop diet. :(

I'm so glad everyone has started using the thread. I consider that I am a slow loser in comparison to the rest of the may sleevers who have lost 60+ pounds.

I am floating around 204-200lbs and have lost 41lbs. I was sleeved may 7th and seriously feel like I'm lagging behind everyone else especially now that I'm coming out of a 6 week stall. I get annoyed, frustrated and upset all the time. Everyone speaks about how good things are and I am seriously fighting to loose a pound.

I think my issue is that I wasnt drinking water. I know that's dumb but it's what I did. I started drinking water on Saturday and I think the scale is moving. Not by much but at this rate I'll take anything. My official Weighin date isn't till Friday though So I won't know for sure till then.

I am a May sleever. What is your definition of a slow loser?

How has your journey been so far?

In comparison to the rest of the May sleevers who have lost between 50-70lbs I consider anything less than 45 a slow loser. But that's my opinion!

Did you have as much to lose in the beginning? My BS said that because I didn't have as much to lose that I may lose it slower than say someone who has 150-200lbs to lose. He said if I was eating right and exercising he couldn't ask for a better patient. It made me feel a little better, until I've been stuck between 200-202 for 3-4 weeks. Have faith, we will get there, and maybe our skin won't sag.
