I had some set backs so I am finally getting sleeved this Monday the 29. I am so happy for you. You are down 68 pounds A-MAZ-ING!!!! It makes me so sad about all of these set backs but it is finally happening I am will be there soon. Do you go to the support groups?

One week post op appt....down 13.6 lbs....was hoping for 7lbs but what a surprise!! He told me all is well and to go buy a digital scale- weigh everyday! I looked at him like he was crazy! Everyday?? He stated its more important later on because you always need to know your weight....it is easier to lose 2-3 lbs then 10.... Logically he is right! So scale bought and weigh in begins. Hope everyone is going great!

The 2nd pic (me & wax figure) was taken 11-3-2012 I was @ 282lbs ( surgery was 11-08-2012)
The 3rd pic (me in mirror) was taken 3-31-2013 I am guessing I was @ 220lbs
and the last pic was taken yesterday @ 218lbs .. I am half way to goal.. so I still have a ways to go,, can't wait to hit onederland!!

Hi guys, i have been waiting since feb to be approved. Finally got approved this week. 11 days away! So excited. I have wanted to be thin all my life. Always on a diet, never thin. I hope the sleeve will help be reach my goal. I wish all my fellow sleevers all the best! No one could ever understand how hard it is to lose weight unless you have tried like we have.

Weighed myself this morning and I'm 195!!!! I'm so excited. Being stuck at 203 for two weeks and now this. Yay!!!

June 05 2012... Is a Day i will Always remember is the Day i took the big Decision to stop my Overweight... Today 1 year Later i feel GREAT to be here with more Energy.. I was 258 pounds with a terrible hormone imbalance, my weight gain was after so many meds to try to conceive a Baby... That was my life Struggle, i was never a skinny Girl. But neither as big as i was... Unti one day i said ENOUGH and made the decision to Stop, today 1 year later i am almost my 100 less, with a much better health, no more PCOS in my LIFE.... Today i acomplish a Goal, setting a new one!!! Keep it off and work hard!!!

My name is Amanda and I'm 22. I was born and raised in both northern and southern Illinois, except for one year where I lived in Missouri. I'm currently in college working on getting my BA in Graphic Design and Art History. I work in a movie theater (sadly with popcorn smell wafting around me at all times...) and it's a blast. I am single right now and hope that changes after I lose more weight and be happier and more confident in myself!
I love, love, love to read. I mainly like fiction, particularly fantasy and historical fiction, as I get enough non-fiction in my own life. Anything related to East Asian cultures is fascinating to me. My bedroom is decorated with Asian influenced items. I have also loved mythology since I took a class on it in high school, where it mainly focused on Greek/Roman. A few years ago, I started getting into Norse mythology, especially since my dad's whole family is Norwegian. I also love video games and cartoons/anime. I'm a total geek.
Guess that's all I have to say!
