    CONGRATS!!
  2. Sorry to say, probably not. The secondary will only cover what the primary wont cover depending on your plan. They will still require you to go through your primary company first and meet their requirements....wish I had better news. I have been in the insurance field for over 25 years and it has always been this way.....but there is a first time for everything. You could always contact your 2nd directly and ask them. Good luck!
  3. Started my pre-op diet this morning!! 2 weeks from today I will be sleeved (that is June 26)!!!
  4. Hopefully the surgery and resulting weight loss will help all of us and our auto immune disorders!! I want my body to focus on healing itself instead of fighting and destroying itself for a change, forever!
  5. I am also on 6/26!!! I am in Tampa, FL.....CAN'T WAIT!!!
  6. Good job!! I walked away from birthday cake for someone at work today!! I have NEVER done that but I start my pre op diet tomorrow and everyone at work knows about my surgery so I did not think cake would be a good choice, lol.
  7. my stomach growls ALL the time, especially when on the prednisone!! Therefore I eat more, stretching out the stomach....my dr said after my egd that my internal stomach is "huge" so he will have to remove more than normal to make it a "normal" post op size...crazy! As long as it won't growl so much,I will be happy. All of my drs--primary, pulmonologist, and rheumatologist all recommended the sleeve over a year ago. Took me that long to research it and make my commitment to change my life! Now I am ready and can't wait!!!
  8. Look over the last couple of pages...lots of suggestions there...best of luck!
