June sleevers?

  • Popular Post

My surgery date is set for June 19th. I'm pretty nervous about a few things. I've never had surgery or been put under so that makes me apprehensive. I'm looking forward to losing weight but it doesn't seem real yet. I meet with the surgeon in May and that's when I find out what my pre op diet will be. Just overall excited but also a little nervous. Anybody relate?

My two week liquid fast starts tomorrow. Doctor-prescribed Optifast. My surgery date is June 27th. It's feeling really REAL now and words don't convey the myriad of emotions I'm experiencing. This

Hi! I'm scheduled for June 4th. Good luck and keep us posted. :)

June 25th here. Every day I try and imagine life after surgery and wonder if I can handle it. I am ready to be healthy, but I have been overweight my whole life and don't know how to live any other way! I have lost 30lbs pre-op so far and need to lose 120 more to be at goal. I am definitely a ball of anxiety about it all, but underneath is a hope that I can finally achieve a lifelong dream!

Hey I'm new here as well. Still trying to learn the forums. I have my surgery June 24th. I understand the feeling I meet with my surgeon on the the 4th of June.

Found out yesterday my date is June 10th. Very excited, but I have to get an IVC filter placed first...sometime in next couple weeks I believe.

I wonder the same thing like how my life will be after surgery and if I can handle the changes.

A lot of us set for mid to late June. Good luck everybody and hope to hear how the meeting with the surgeon went. Does anybody know if they give you a set amount of weight they want u to lose pre op or do they just tell u a set time like a two week liquid diet? I fear getting this far and then not being able to lose the prescribed amount of pre op weight.
