  1. I'm 4 days out and you're doing WAY better on liquids and protein than me. Things are going down easier today and feeling much better:)
  2. I took 2 weeks off. Desk job but with lots of running around too.I work 12 hr shifts. As of right now (day 4 out) I think I'll be fine then but glad I'm not going back after 1 week.
  3. Gotta say Day 4 is waaaaaaaaaayy better than Day 2!! 5 oz of liquid plus a jello in a couple hours without the twinge after each swallow. Moving around better. Still not up for a 5K but ....can see the light at the end of the tunnel:)
  4. You look darling! Congrats on the baby!!
  5. Great news!!! I hope today is the day I get more liquids in. I can feel it's going to happen.
  6. Had the repair. Did not know I had one. Seems pretty common.

  8. Day before you Lipstick but pretty much the same with sleeping & liquids. Today was better. Tomorrow will be better yet. That's my thought anyway!
  9. I tink I lost 11 lbs in the 2 weeks prior but am sure I gained it back in the hospital. Have not weighed in but super bloated in the midsection.
  10. May 15th here. Day of surgery & next day in hospital was pretty good. Went home about 5pm on the 16th. Realized hospital bed was much easier getting in and out of then my bed! Slept from 6pm-730 am and slept most of yesterday. Stilling sleeping a lot today but up for longer periods of time. Back pain gone but feeling very bloated. Will not get on scale yet! So a bit better each day. Happy I took 2 weeks off work!
  11. Shoulder/back discomfort here too. Only left shoulder. Passed a gal walking in the hall & hers was left shoulder also.
  12. I'm on the other side of my S date!!! Arrived yesterday730 am for 930 am surgery. All went well. Small hernia repair, out of recovery & got to my room around noon'ish. Was super tired til 4 or 5pm. Walked around the floor 3 times.1st time not far.Dr stopped in to check on me & said all went well. Was still kind of out of it so it was a quick visit. Held off on pain button til 8pm. Back/shoulder discomfort kicked in. Not sure if it's all the gas they pumped into me or the bed at a 44 degree angle. Dr came by this am to check on me. Starting my Roadside Lemonade now. So if all goes well today with my sipping and walking I may be sleeping in my own bed tonight. All in all so far so good! I've heard from a couple of sleevers from yesterday who seem to be doing well. Have a great day everyone!!
  13. Are they giving you anti-nausea meds? They gave me some both before & after surgery.

  16. Nectar is one of the options given to us in the hospital as a first drink. Roadside Lemonade, pink grapefruit and strawberry/kiwi are my favs pre-op. Who knows post-op?
  17. OK so it's kind of like having a baby. You're always happy for others when they go through it but when it's your turn it's like OMG yea!! I'm so excited. So my time is 9:30 tomorrow morning 5/15. I'm not nervous at all.(probably should be) Have full trust in my Dr and am envisioning a smooth, uneventful recovery. And if it doesn't happen that way no problem, I'll deal with it, I'm just sooooooooooo ready. Bring it sleeve!! Love you guys!!!
  18. You look beautiful and sure don't look 180 in those pics. Did I read that wrong or was it a typo?
