  1. I won't even say the 1st thing that popped into my mind
  2. Surgery was on a Weds so I weigh each Weds morning at home. If I want to go weigh in at my Drs I can as his office is approx 2 miles away and I can go use their scale anytime I want without an appt. Lucky in that respect. Heck I should walk there next time
  3. You actually look awesome in all your photos!! Great job on the 50 down:)
  4. Sounds like you're doing fine. I have some bars I like. Just haven't eaten many. Also getting most of my protein from chicken, fish & yogurt. I bought a couple shakes today just for convenience when working long shifts with not much time to eat.
  5. You're doing great! 6 weeks out today for me too No regrets!!
  6. Great job!!!!!!!!!! Any before and after pics to share?
  7. Though it's a great number for Protein intake for a day it should be spaced out more during the day. You mentioned this in the a.m. and cottage cheese at lunch. You really need protein through out the day but probably not many more calories. Just my thoughts:)
  8. Is that your meal for the day? Or how many servings do you plan out of it?
  9. You look fabulous!!!!!!!!!!
  10. Each day gets easier! I went back to week in 2 weeks but was feeling normal after 8-10 days. I did take naps the 1st week.
  11. Week 4 they added the protein bars sold at the hospital pharmacy. Have only had one.
  12. I ordered the Unjury Sample Pack http://www.unjury.com/store/protein/unjury-protein/unjury-starter-pack.html
  13. Congrats!!! I've gone from approx 9 pills a day to 2 1/2 plus stopped Lantus/insulin. Looking forward to getting off the rest some day
  14. No complications, nausea, vomiting, or regrets! All is good!
  15. I ordered this to keep food warm.Being delivered today. Read about it on a thread here. http://www.bedbathandbeyond.com/product.asp?SKU=17293320
  16. If you don't see huge drops the 1st week do not be discouraged!!! Many of us gained 5-10 lbs in the hospital between the IV's and gas pumped into our bellys for surgery. I know I gained as I could hardly button the shirt when I came home that fit fine when I went in and I only stayed 1 night! I didn't weigh myself for 2 weeks as I didn't want to see an increase:)
  17. Great job with all your positive changes!!
  18. 57 and sleeved on 5/15. Smooth sailing so far
  19. Major transformation!! Congrats!
  20. Repeating everyone but you look GREAT!!!! Is your ticker right? 78 lbs to go? You may disappear!!!
  21. If you're on liquids you should be ok if you strain it after preparing it and just drink the broth. I was allowed broth the 1st 2 weeks post op.
