Hi Violet sistas! I am waiting for dh to call me to give me the latest update on my dsd. I know that she just got home, which is wonderful in itself! I want to know details though. Kinda hard getting details from a man....they just don't ask questions like a woman would....ugh. Oh well, maybe by getting a few things out of him I can piece it together myself. If we choose San Antonio, I will drive there. It is like I think 3-4 hours from houston. By the way, I have a van so I can fit myself & 5 more (or 6 depending on how small we all are by then).:pray2:

When I went to San Antonio on the riverwalk, I took one of the riverboat tour things. Well, I got on the boat sober and thanks to pitchers of margaritas when I got off I could hardly walk. Sea legs maybe? lol San Antonio is really nice!

If we go to PA I just might stay and become Amish....

As soon as I posted last time my phone rang. DH told me that he just spoke with Brandi and her mom. He said she said she feels alot better. Her mom said that it is a viral infection and that of course the nurses have come in about 10-12 times today to stick her with a needle for diffrerent test & stuff. Poor baby. They are going to keep her at least tonight. On those same lines, I guess we may have to pay dr & ambulance bills instead of my violet trip.:smile: I hope it doesn't come to that, but the most important thing is dsd and her health. I will keep you all posted.

Hi again everyone- My dsd is in the hospital. She is 13 years old. She has been running fever, coughing, sneezing, all that stuff. Well, last night her mom took her to the hospital cause she was getting worse and it seems whatever infection she has has gone to her little "female parts". That hospital had her taken by ambulance to Texas Childrens Hospital in houston. The BEST! They admitted her and I am waiting to hear an update. Please keep Brandi in your prayers.

So far what it looks like to me is that people want to be able to fly into wherever the final destination is, right? I for one would loathe a few hour (or more) plane trip than a few hours by car. It would kill almost an entire day just getting to where we wanna be!

Well like I told the tour guide at a cave we went to, as long as the strecther can make it down there, I will try it!! LOL:biggrin:

Good morning violets- Pamela-I am right here with you on the TOM and cramps thing. UGH, horrible this month! Good to see you HH. It is going to rain its butt off here today. a real frog strangler! I took tomorrow off from work cause it is supposed to be the same way and I just know I need a day to stay in bed all wrapped up like a burrito with my heating pad. :smile: I wish I would have taken today off too.
