Good morning violets-how is everyone today? Jane-I sure hope you feel better soon! We did go to my neices wedding yesterday. Her dh could not go to the reception cause he has the flu. My poor neice had to cut the cake alone....I felt so sorry for her! My sister said that macy did not run any fever last night so hopefully that is that. It just worries me about her going back to daycare tomorrow with such a low resistance! I am going to post a pic of me and dh at the reception. I have been so broad shouldered my whole life and in this pic I am actually not looking like a linebacker anymore! Have a great day everyone!

Kat-the dr never gave macy any antibiotics cause it was one of the "let it run its course" kind of flu. I am just going to keep an eye on her over this weekend and see what happens. She has only been running a temp in the late evening so if she runs fever tonight & tomorrow night then I will have to bring her into the dr.:thumbup:

Terri-good lord! It did take me half an hour to do my post...I was typing and slaving for macy while you posted! I am SO glad your scale is moving! WAY TO GO!!!!!!!! YEEEEHAWWWW!

Good morning V's-macy did not wake up during the night which to me is a good sign. She did not have a fever this morning but she says her throat hurts a little. I think she may have a little bit of an ear infection too. Kinda makes me not know if I should let her go to my sisters house. She feels great as long as she has a little bit of ibuprofen in her. One dose last her all day long and she is active and eating & playing...I don't know. Am I the only violet that it takes about 30 minutes to actually post something cause it is constant interruptions, ie; momma I want some water, momma i want some breakfast, momma I wanna watch a movie. LOL Kat-hope Rick is doing OK! How is Kinsey? Pamela-sorry you are falling apart sista! Its hell getting old! (we aren't THAT old, but are at the point that we can say that) lol Terri-How are things going on your side of the greater Houston area? I hope that things are going better for you....you are in my prayers! Denise-congrats on the house shopping and getting approved! I wish we could but we just can't right now. It will be alot better once dh isn't paying SO much child support! I am so happy for you! Jane-purple power for you not to get sick! Get some vitamins in you and try to fight it off! Macys fever DID go back up to 102.3 and here is the weird part....I ask her how she feels and she says "good, I'm just hot and cold mommie". Soooo, looks like I will not get my "me" weekend unless something drastically changes. My neice is getting married tomorrow too and I probably wont be able to go. But my main focus is Macy right now so hopefully my neice will understand! I am sure she will. Have a good evening violets....and send me some 'mommie purple power!" So far so good! Mcy has not run anymore fever so maybe it left as quickly as it came! I am so excited! We went and got a new couch & chaise lounge. The couch is 2 (big) cushion instead of 3 and each half of the couch reclines!!! They are delivering it in about an hour and a half. I hav not had a new couch in 10 years. The chaise lounge back part reclines too and ends up laying just about flat like a bed....SWEET! (here judy is talking abut her exercise equipment and I am talking about new stuff to sit & lay on, LOL) Laura-Kick your DH in the pants and lay down the law!! :eek: :glare:

YAY JUDY!!! (I did not wanna race cause I know that YOU will beat ME!) My scale bounced back up 2 pounds this morning...I think Terri jinxed me:tongue2: I am probably bloated cause it is almost TOM so I am not gonna let it get me down. I will just wait for the week to be over with and then start weighing again. Sure is hard to stay off the scales though!

He didn't do the fill but he was there and talked to me. First time for me to see him too since the surgery. Such a nice man! Kat-when you tell the stories about hat you have gone through it sure makes me realize what a strong amazing woman you are!! Michelle-OMG....I don't think I could have kept a secret like that! I just hate that we aren't ALL there to see the reaction you get from the kids!! Good morning violets! Are you all sitting down? Macy woke up at 11 PM with 101 fever saying that her throat hurts! The good news is that this morning she is not running fever but I am keeping her home anyway. Please pray that she stays fever free! I dread calling my boss and telling him I am not coming in. UGH! OH JUDY....I did it again....I was walking into the bathroom with my arms out trying to fasten my bra on the way into the bathroom and crashed my elbow into the door frame!!! This time it was worse...I have a bruise already and it only happened about 15 minutes ago so I have an ice pack on it! When will I learn??????

Terri-you are so right about listening to others stories and then realizing how much worse things could actually be! By the way....NO I did not lose 2 more pounds this morning (smartie pants, lol) but I did lose .5 which means I am knocking on Judys door! Uno more poundola! (like the spanglish?)
