LAURA- I know you said sometimes you just skim through posts, so I wanted to make sure you read this one...lol:tt2: I have a picture of all the Violets on the front porch of our cabin. I had it printed out at walmart and I am carrying it around in my purse. Macy saw the picture and pointed at Judy and asked "who is she?" I said "Judy". Macy said "she is nice, right momma?" "yes babygirl she is very nice". Then she pointed to YOU and said "what is her name momma?" I said "Laura". Macy goes "she's pretty". I said "she sure is pretty, what do you think is pretty about her?" Macy goes, "she is just beautiful, right momma?" "yes babygirl, she is beautiful". Thought you would like to hear that....

Good morning everyone- Happy Monday. I went and picked up dd yesterday. Saturday night she stayed at my sisters house and she also had my little neice spend the night. Well, my neice was sick Sat night so guess what happened....you got it....macy woke up with a fever & sore throat last night. This morning she is fever free but I am keeping her home to make sure she stays that way. Lets pray that is over this quick. Pray for me too cause I have issues... :grouphug: Have a great day everyone. BBL

Laura-you may not have had to work as hard as others have to lose weight but you have struggled at times to make good choices. I recall some posts from you when you had junk at work that you fought yourself off of. The band is not a miracle...you coud eat around the band if you wanted to, you have just made a good judgement call NOT to eat around the band. Do not cut yourself short. Give yourself some credit. You have had to work at it...just maybe not as hard as some folks. You said that you do not eat fast food anymore...well that is directly related to you working your tool. I am quite sure if you worked at it hard enough you could find something on that fast food menu to eat, and if not then there is the mental thing we go through having to deal with the fact that we are not allowed that stuff anymore. So whether it is mental or physical, it can still be a challenge. I just do not want you go through this thinking that you aren't doing anything cause you are....just maybe not as much as you thought you would, ya know? So in a nutshell, your band and YOU are doing a fantastic job!!

Bon Voyage Judy!!! Good morning violets~Had a great nights sleep. Macy is at moms and I slept like a log! I still woke up kind of early but that's OK. Terri-you are right, we just moved here in December but we have lived on the same property for years so our landlord would not have a problem if we left our lease early. It is relatively easy to find 2 BR houses. The hard part is finding prices that are reasonable but yet in decent neighborhoods. So it is fun to just ride around & look. I am so sorry that you are going through tough times. (((hugs))) So what does everyone have planned. We know Judy is cruising and Pammie is Vegasing...I am just gonna kick back & relax. We have a 3 BR house and I am starting to look at 2 BR because his kids hardly ever come over and we are wasting money on a BR that we never use. Just doesn't make sense. Good morning ya'll- TGIF Well I was just gonna do half a day today cause my mom & stepdad are coming to get macy for the weekend and we were gonna go to lunch but the girl that wors with me called in SO...I will still get to go, I will just have to go in there and put my foot down...err, or maybe just whine & cry about it until I can leave:biggrin: Pammie-have a great time this weekend at the concert! LUCKY LADY! Everyone have a fantastic time in whatever you do and please be careful! By the way, I am still being horrible in my eating and can't seem to control myself and it is really taking a mental toll on me. Pretty bad when I start thinking maybe I should have had gastric bypass....:smile:

Hi ya'll- Well it looks like my countdown is correct after all. Tomorrow will not be my last day at work. I went in and talked to my boss and I had thought that he would not care one way or another if I left tomorrow. Well....he pleaded for me to stay to wrap up some more things. Hmmm, it was really nice to feel needed/valued for a change. Makes me feel like I might be missed after all. Someone had even mentioned something about a going away party...it would be very nice (and appropriate) but I know if they do not do something my feelings are going to be SO hurt. I am just trying not to expect anything, ya know? I do not wanna be let down. I will feel like the worlds biggest idiot to stay thre to help out for 2 more weeks to find that they were just 'using' me. Ugh..sorry I am just rambling. :crying: Haydee-I wasn't gonna say anything about your situation with Juan BUT I can't believe he said that to you. My response would have been "no, I want to find someone who loves me enough to WANT to marry me". OK, sorry, I had to say that. Even if Friday is my last day dd will still be in pre-k 2 weeks since I paid for it already. It will give me a little momma vacation before the macy & me time. I have never had 2 weeks off without a child around before. It will give me time to plot and plan and come up ill all kinds of neat stuff to do. Speaking of....she just got home so let me go....

When she text me back the other day she said she has been super busy with work and that she still does not have a new laptop but that she DOES miss us! Haydee-how are things? I love that you adopted a new dog. Do you have any pics to post? Laura & Tracy-our stomach flab looks alike. Mine is just like that too. Always had it, always probably will We had a story come out Sunday that a 7 year old boy and a 3 year old girl went missing from their apartments. Today they arrested the DAD. The dogs (bloodhounds) went straight from the apartment to the trunk of the dads car. They still do not know where the kids are. Poor babies. Right now they have him booked on domestic violence for a mishap yesterday he had with his wife. The wife told police that the man said something to her like "they are dead and the police need to just go on with it" ...plus he went off on a news crew today right before he got arrested. Sounds like he is a bastard from the word go. I really hope the babies are OK, but from what they are reporting it doesn't sound good. There are so many sad stories in the news. Some days I just can not bear to watch the news or read the newspaper. Pammie-have you seen the advertisement for the new BB? WOOT! Its coming soon! The 11th I think?! It is really pouring down rain outside. I am glad cause we were SO dry. All the plants & grass were dying around here. Well macy is now officially registered for swimming lessons. They start July 7th and they only had ONE opening left. So, it was meant for her to go. The lady in the HR dept at where my dh got interviewed (a few weeks ago) called him today but it only rang a couple of times so he called the lady back and she told him that she had needed some info on him but figured out what she needed to know. Now...I take that as a positive thing that she even called cause that means she is actually working on something about HIM! I am not trying to count my chickens before they hatch but it sure does sound positive. Hopefully we will hear something soon. Everyone PRAY. Frank really deserves this job. He is such a hard working dependable man. This would be huge for us and our retirement! I am so nervous About my work thing...this Friday will more than likely be my last day. I did not wanna screw over the girl that works for me by leaving her too soon but today she said not to stay on her account. She is OK with it. It is actually a longer story than that but in a nutshell why should I make my departure easy on the company when they haven't really done anything for me...ever? They should have to send someone down to train her instead of me staying on to do it for them. So...siyonara...naner naner boo boo:tt2::glare: OK, lightning is getting bad and if I lose this post I wll be PO'd....see ya'll in the morning!

Good question Terri...I thought for sure she would have posted over the weekend but she didn't. Maybe she doesn't love us anymore... I sure miss her...

Hi everyone! Got off work early today due to a 24 hour bug I have only had the 'bug" for a few hours so I have about 21 hours to go so it looks like I won't be able to go in tomorrow either.
