to carry or not carry my 9 month old infant
Most instructions would say no more than 10lbs for 2 weeks. But I'm sure it'll be difficult not to hold your baby.

Post-op Pain Control? IV Tylenol? Not convinced.
I didn't use any pain meds post op. So, Tylenol should work. Lol

Did you need plastic surgery?
It's BS to think you won't have loose skin. I'm in my 20's, never had children, workout like crazy, stay hydrated, exfoliate and moisturize my skin.. Blah blah blah... I'm am very much looking forward to my plastics to fix my saggy skin and floppy boobs. I have a few more lbs to lose before then. This isn't something you can always avoid. I wish ppl (especially those who haven't had sx) wouldn't say, "oh you won't have loose skin bc you're young... Or workout... Or take care of yourself... Or don't have kids..." If only they'd see this body without clothes! LOL

Is sex better as a thinner you?
It doesn't bother my husband whatsoever. But it affects me by obsessing that it affects him. That's my hang-up, not his.

Self - Pay Costs?
$9800 self pay, outpatient in Louisiana. I couldn't see paying over $12000 as a self pay. That would be ridiculous.

Sex better? Oh goodness YES! Light on? Haha, I'm more insecure now than when I was larger.

I have no idea what I will look like thinner!
I depends on the day- today and yesterday I was fat. The day before, super skinny. I don't know if the brain ever gets it.

I have no idea what I will look like thinner!
I was big all my life also. This was a HUGE fear of mine : what would I look like? And would I even like it?? I didn't know what my face looked like under those round cheeks... I didn't know what my body shape would be... That was scary. I just had to keep reminding myself this was for my health. And to my surprise, I look half decent without all the extra weight (in clothing of course). lol

How often do you poop? Don't be shy!
Twice a week. And I also take Colace daily.

GALLBLADDER QUESTION
Sounds like gallbladder/ duct spasms. It can absolutely start like that, or as just a bit of nausea, or as a full blown "SOB GET THIS OUTTA ME" kneeling on the floor crying kinda pain. Gallbladders are tricky like that

Discouraged after Seminar last night
I was a self pay and it was $9800 (Louisiana). Quite a bit of people go to Mexico as well. Some magical people have insurance to cover it-- mine said absolutely never.

Sometimes I forget I'm not that big...
Losing weight so fast plays some serious mind-games with you... Last night's one was really shocking (for me) yet funny: My husband and I were laying in bed (this doesn't get dirty, sorry), and he was running his hand along my side and back. I could feel his hand going over lumps. So I was like, "your hand's getting caught on my fat rolls." Him- "um, no honey, those are your ribs. MY RIBS!!!! LOL Of course, I surely thought he was wrong and I kept putting my hand in the same spot where my back fat used to hang-- yep, ribs.

I take Flintstones, calcium (tums), biotin, and b 12.

Smoothie Portion Size
I drink gladiator as well (as a meal replacement on the go). 20 oz takes about 2 hours, but I'm 7 months out. Not sure about at 5 weeks. And PS: I LOVE that you called your NUT an airhead! Haha

vitamins
That's what I take: one in the am, one in the afternoon.

Relationships after the sleeve. Are you happy and in it to win it? Are you ready to leave/divorce your tormentor?
During my 1st appointment my Doc asked, "do you know what the #1 complication associated with this surgery is?" And being such a good little nurse, I'm like, "uh, yeah. Blood clots." Duh. He says, "no, it's divorce" WOW. Didn't expect him to say that. And no. I don't feel like I settled. My husband is amazing. But this does introduce a whole new set of problems to work through.

gastric sleeve complication
The sleeve isn't a device. Please ask more questions so you all can understand what is really going on. Hope she does well!!!
