  1. Just let your nurse of doctor know if you have a tampon in. Please! Lol
  2. One in the morning. One in the afternoon.
  3. If you insist on CIB, get the no sugar added (very important!) and add unflavored protein powder.
  4. My surgeon suggested the Flintstones complete- which is what I take. As long as it's ok with your doc, it's good.
  5. Wow! You look fantastic! Like a whole different person- and so happy! Congrats!!!
  6. Outstanding! You look AMAZING!! And great advice!!
  7. I never thought so much would come off so quickly. It's really amazing!
  8. Don't do a tampon during the actual surgery unless your surgeon ok's it.
  9. Nice!!! You look fantastic!!
  10. I believe I have a 32 (possibly 34). The largest I've ever heard used was a 40. ???
  11. It has been 6 months since my VSG.... And I still LOVE my sleeve. Aside from marrying my husband, this is the best thing I've ever done. No regrets... I'm not at all saying its easy. It's not all sunshine and rainbows. The emotional stuff is hard. I look in the mirror and cry sometimes, but the good outweighs the bad completely. I still write down everything I eat. Protein first. I still (and plan to forever) stay away from potatoes, bread, Pasta, and rice. I try my best to take in enough Fluid (notice I said TRY). I still use Protein shakes and bars as Meal Replacements from time to time-- but truth is, I really enjoy them. I exercise 1-2 hours most days a week- walking, jogging, weights, crunches, squats, BodyFlow classes (my new fav), whatever-- but tonight is my first belly dancing class. Wow, never would've done that before! As of this week I am 92 lbs down and officially "overweight!" I have 8 lbs until I meet my original goal of 100 lbs GONE! (But I'll probably revise and lower that goal). I can't explain how much I truly love this lifestyle-- the workouts, the food choices, the energy... Just feeling so good. Oh , and the sex hehe, sorry. Info: Age: 26 Ht: 5 ft (4' 11.5") Sleeved on 6/11/2013 Highest weight: 245 Surgery weight: 240 Current weight: 148 Largest size in my closet; 24. Most days I fit a 20-22. Currently size 12.
  12. It's much easier as time passes. No one comments to me anymore now that I'm near goal. I guess it just seems normal... Although I do still get questions from waitstaff which makes me a little self conscious. The other day I left a rather large tip and wrote "thanks for not making me feel crazy" on the ticket bc I was so happy to not have my wants questioned. Lol.
  13. You look amazing. I hope I achieve what you have in one years time. Congratulations again. Thanks! I'm a little less than 6 month out-- I never thought I'd be this close to goal this soon! It's absolutely AMAZING! Good luck to you! You can do it!!!
  14. Not at all. I LOVE my sleeve. (But this is also coming from someone who hasn't had complications)
  15. Thanks y'all!! (I get the "you look younger" comment a lot--- I like that!) haha
  16. You are so right-- it is a tool. It helps, but we have to choose good things to put in it! Discipline is key. Glad you're feeling well..
  17. * feel free to share y'all pics here too!* Guys, why can't I see my post when I'm typing or editing? It's just blank.. No words. Any help??
  18. I'm about 12 lbs from goal (will revise goal when I get there- want to be a bit smaller). Nothing like some good before & after pics to remind you how you're doing. Feel free to share y'all oo.
  19. Thanks! And congrats!!!
  20. Thanks y'all!!! I'm so excited about this!!! .... Oh, and yesterday I wore a MEDIUM shirt!!!
