Incredible shrinking legs
Yes, you may still be bloated. I had a similar loss pattern to you. (Are you an apple-shape too?) I lost weight in my face, neck, shoulders and arms at first. My gut seemed to stay the same. It is definitely smaller now, but it took a while for my pants size to drop.

Complications
I had horrible nausea for the first 3 days after surgery, but it passed. I am sorry you feel so sick, but good for you for advocating for yourself. You know your body, so keep fighting and speaking up until you feel better or until they discover the source of your problems. Good luck and good health to you.

people see an amazing transformation..but not me
It's a weird world, isn't it? Our own body image and negative self-talk for so many years really makes us feel weird when we start to look thinner. I say if you're comfortable sharing, share. If not, tell them how you lost it--you restricted unnecessary calories and you started to move. No one needs to know about the sleeve if you don't care to share. No one on my FB knows, except an old acquaintance who also was sleeved!

Movie night... No popcorn? Help
Popcorn is a starch and all carbs, so take it easy if you choose to have any.

So HUNGRY!
I have gone through some hungry stages, particularly during that horrible time of the month. It passes. If you are reaching for junk food, though, you'll need to strengthen your resolve. Remember to track EVERYTHING you put in your mouth, and maybe try a yummy protein bar to help you get through your desire for sweets.Best of luck!

Craving food
I remember hitting my 3rd week and being allowed to eat an egg. I was so excited! I think it's normal to miss food, to an extent. And as long as you know there is a light at the end of the tunnel, and you know you must eat well, you will be OK.

Residual Enlarged Esophagus from lap band turns to gastric sleeve for help!
I have no expertise on the lap band either, but I wish you the best. I was someone who worked out and tried every diet out there before I was sleeved. I am still a slow loser, but it has helped me so much! I hope it works for you!

So Dry....
I guess you should just drink your 64 oz. and moisturize! Maybe a home humidifier would help?

Don't tell my trainer
If you can't be honest with your trainer, or if they come from the Jillian Michaels school of bullying clients, maybe you should find a trainer who will support you and meet you where you're at. My trainer knows all there is to know about my health woes, and she's heard every curse word known to man as I do the tasks she assigns. She always takes my negative self-talk away and makes me feel proud of my effort!

I am such a failure!
I believe in My Fitness Pal too. It keeps me honest and helps me decide if I really need to eat an extra snack. I've seen days that I nearly hit 1000 calories, and it frustrates me, but it makes me work that much harder to stay under 800 cal./day. I am under 700 cal. 90% of the time. I know that thanks to MFP.

Ready for the hospital
It's now 10:25. You are probably out of surgery! I hope it went well!!

Compression Garments?
I haven't used any compression garments for tightening loose skin, but I am a firm (no pun intended) believer in "foundation undergarments". (tanks, panties, etc.) Spanks are great to smooth and shape the lumps and bumps. I don't think I will ever have the money or nerve to seek plastics, so I will be buying stock in the company!

Disappointed
You could always walk stairs, if you have them in your home. Kind of boring, but it works. Start with 10 up and 10 down--it will get your blood pumping. Good luck!

Ok Now I feel Like I'm working too
Way to go!

Mommy, I can reach my arms around you!
So cute! Congratulations!

A therapeutic post
You're only human. Are you allowed sugar free popsicles or sugar free jello on this diet? They may help take the edge off. Good luck! You can do it!

Quest pasta?
I am excited about this because since it's made from a root, not a grain, the carbs are very low and won't negatively affect my blood sugar or increase my need for insulin. I am not a big fan of spaghetti squash, so this may be an occasional treat .

Tomorrow is the day! 7:30 PST
Have you tried sugar-free popsicles? I was able to tolerate them pretty well in the hospital.

100lbs down!
Rock on!

Quest pasta?
Have any of you tried the Quest Pasta? They are sending me free samples of the pasta with some bar flavor samples. (Great customer service.) Just wondering about the flavor of the pasta. The nutritional info. seems too good to be true!

Scar update... 4.5 months post op
You look great!

Sliming question
No, not yet. Could it be the chili powder that is irritating your throat?

What's with my heart rate/BP?!?
I have AFib, and I know for me, after I get restored to regular, sinus heart rate, it takes a few weeks for my BP to go back down to normal. I am wondering if your body is responding to the trauma of surgery. Either way, I hope your doc. can shed some light on it for you! Good luck!

What does your doctor say?
