Hi all, I am set gor April 9th with Dr.Ponce...I have heard good things from ppl who used him, looking for anyone who went within the last year. I am going thru wls4betterlife. Trish is my coordinator and has been great so far. Any info would be appreciated. Also any info on your experience at hospital INT regardless of the doc you used. I had dr. Garcia and have had no issues. Sleeved 4/9 -
I have a friend who wants to get wls like I had, however she might have a thyroid issue. She is waiting to see doc for blood test.... Do any of you know of some that has had wls with a thyroid issue? Thanks for any info.

Same here in hospital it was all iv but afters I had no problems. :-)

I was given the Mexico version of Toradol from doc and it was a sublingual. ( melt under your tongue) but I was taking my dexilant 2 days after surgery with no problems along with Tylenol if I needed it.

I experienced that the first week...now it goes from extremely hot to cold...weird :-) -
Oh and the reason I switched from nex. Was Because of nausea and I was getting headaches. Both since stopped.

I know they hurt! I also just made myself burp a lot even got my hubby to pat back like u do babies. when u drink try to burp before u drink more. That would help me sometimes.

I was having that problem when making protein shakes in blender. But you might want to ask doc to switch u to medicine called Dexilant 60mgs...its like nexium but worked better for me. I take 1 every morning and since have had no problems. Hope it gets better for u.

Oh ok..sounds so good but im only in mushy stage. Im guessing this normal food is further out.

Im 10 days out and liquids r not agreeing with me...I have tried a few mushy foods and they work well but im craving fish. Is 10 out to soon for tilapia? -

I was sleeved 9 April..... im down 10 pounds but that is mostly fluid I gained from iv and im sure theres a lot more in there as my tummy is still swollen. Also, I switched to Dr. Garcia less than a week before my surgery so I really only did 3 days pre op. He is a good doctor and I loved Florence hospital to. Good luck on your journey! -
