  1. I use cocktail fork and small spoon. I also use a very small plate but no sippy cup

  3. This is very normal. The first couple of weeks post op were frustrating to me as well. I actually spent that time watching food network and searching the web. I put together recipes I wanted to try or modify for soft food and after. In a weird way it helped me

  8. You need to go to the er or call your doctor. Very significant sign of infection. Could just be a UTI.
  9. I know this article is a year old but it states that stretching the esophagus is a side effect or complication or whatever. I have never heard this before.
  10. Use a heating pad for the gas. Also walking helps. Crystal light is good to soften the water. I drank minute maid lemonade light which my nut recommended. It saved me. I slept w a pillow on my side to ease the pain but that part just takes time. This is the worst if it. You will get through it.

  14. You need a minimum if three cups but should shoot for 64 oz (8 cups). I'm in TX too. W the heat you have to really stay hydrated.

  17. Hummus. And you can make it yourself. I found a recipe for avocado hummus. I would avoid the bread and crackers though until you are further out. I did different beans just made sure they were soft. Also chicken and tuna salads.

  22. I considered the fiber gummies but started a probiotic gummy instead and I have had no problems.
