  1. You were beautiful before but now your just stunning, congrats on your accomplishment
  2. I also smoked for many years and quit cold turkey 4 weeks before my surgery. It scared me when the dr. informed me of the risks of smoking after the sleeve and also he would not do the surgery of I did smoke.....that made me wanna quit because I wanted the surgery so bad. After my surgery though I can not even stomach the smell of smoke, my husband still smokes and it smells so bad at times I feel sick. I hope I continue to feel this way about it because I never want to start back up again! Good luck, you got this
  3. You look awesome, glad ur feeling better!
  4. Congrats on your weightloss everyone. I'll be 4 weeks out next Tuesday and down 32lbs as of Wednesday at the dr. I can't believe 32 lbs in 3 weeks. Getting protein in is a challenge for me to. But I think as my stomach heals more it'll be easier! Keep up the great work guys and gals!
  5. When you have a bigger band size the cup will be bigger than if you have a smaller band size...for example a 44DD cup will be much bigger than a 36DD cup, so that's why in some cases you'll have to go up a bigger cup size after losing weight!
  6. You look great...congrats, I know you feel amazing
  7. I waited two 1/2 weeks and were fine....my lower stomach is still sore a little so I made sure my husband didn't put any weight on it! Just listen to your body, you'll know when it's right!
  8. Starting to feel slightly better, like I might actually live. I'll be so happy when I feel better. I know I'm only two weeks out and down 28lbs since surgery but still questioning if I did the right thing because of how crappy I feel!
  9. I had the same feeling for about a week and a half after surgery. It would tighten up and hurt even when I wasn't drinking anything! It's almost completely gone and I'm a little over 2 weeks out! Just hang in there, it'll get better
  10. I have never felt sicker in my life....just two weeks today post-op and somehow contracted this nasty virus. Two days now of extreme vomiting, horrible diareah, stomach cramps like I am going to die, chills and fever! Everytime I get sick, the pain in my lower right stomach hurts so bad. I pray no one else in my family gets it because its very contagious. Hoping I feel better tomorrow because I need to get some IV liquids, but up to this point I've felt to sick to move! I also pray it hasn't damaged my sleeve at all, because of all the pain from vomiting. I don't even know what to drink because everything makes me nauseous. Tried sucking on ice chips again, flat vernors, popcycles... idk what else to do! Need prayer and any info of what to do! Thanks
  11. AMAZING JOB....you look awesome!
  12. Had my surgery on 2/26 also and are still dealing with lots of gas, some stomach pains from surgery but quite a bit of pain in my left shoulder/collar bone area. I am having a hard time getting liquids down but hopefully that'll change soon! Good luck with your journeys!
  13. I was also sleeved two days ago and the has is what's causing me the most pain! I just continue to walk and take the gas drops, I also have the horrible pain in the left shoulder but thank God today the gas just started to pas....yours will too
  14. Good luck everyone....I am also scheduled for today...new beginnings for all of us...YAAAYYY????????????????????????????
  15. I am so excited, yet nervous....trying to sleep but can't. Knowing my alarm is going to go off in two hours. Did anyone else get nervous the night before surgery like this? Just wondering!
