  1. Just wondering how many weeks or months out before you can drink with your meals. I can't stand not being able to drink with my meals...I'm so thirsty..uggg
  2. I was on the fence too for a couple years, but it's been the best decision I've ever made! Only you can decide if you really want it and don't do it for anyone but yourself!
  3. I was skeptical for about the first month post-op because if how I felt (headaches,so thirsty, tired, sore) but now that I'm starting my third month I am very pleased. I would do it again because the initial symptoms I mentioned are about gone and I've lost 47lbs in 9weeks! Yaaaay!
  4. I still eat spicy foods....I think it depends on the person!
  5. Hello, I had my surgery on 2/26 so I'm 8 weeks out as of yesterday. I had my surgery at St.Mary's hospital in Grand Rapids MI and Dr.Foote is my surgeon. He's a amazing dr....very caring, awesome bedside manner and just a great surgeon! I haven't been losing weight super fast like some others but I didn't have a very high bmi. Since surgery day I've lost 45 lbs....I can't wait to get to my goal!
  6. I agree, totally hot...I hope I look that good!
  7. Holy crap that looks painful! I'm sure you will feel/look even more amazing after you heal...congrats!
  8. Is he on esophageal anti-spasm meds? Those would help me quite a bit.....when I would drink it would cramp and make the liquid wanna come back up! It really does pass though after a couple weeks after the swelling goes down. But I do advise him to go to the E.R and get some fluids so if he is dehydrated yet to make sure he doesn't. He will feel much better after that!
  9. That doesn't even look like the same person... OMW, you look amazing!
  10. Congrats...I'm glad to hear your doing well, keep up the great work girl
  11. That is so horrible and scary, I'm glad to hear your ok....God definitely was watching over you!
  12. Praying for you, I'm sure you'll do great! Make sure you have gas X and anti nausea meds and you'll be fine....walk, walk, walk and drink, drink, drink! Keep us posted
  13. I love the black/cream sequin dress....that's a size 14 and 3/4 length sleeves? So how does this work if I want to purchase it?
  14. Our bodies have to get used to the drastic changes it's going through......as long as your doing what your supposed to be doing the scales will move again!
  15. I am proud to be a Christian, a believer of Jesus Christ! I am not one to cram it down others throats or preach it on every corner but if someone is wanting to know about my God, I will be more than happy to share! I believe everyone needs something to believe in good or bad, I like believing that there's something so much better after this hard life were all living and one day I'll get to experience that!
  16. I am almost 6 weeks post op and even though I can eat most foods everything I try tastes either bland or not good at all. I keep saying to my husband I want something that taste good but have yet to come across it. Some of the things I used to enjoy before my sleeve are so disgusting now, it's really weird. I also eat one to many bites at times. I think I'm not done and then I get this feeling where I'm about to explode. I have to walk around for awhile or lay down...it subsides after about 20-30 min. I figure the better we get to learn our bodies the better it'll get! Good luck with your journey...it can only get better
  17. Wow you look super H.O.T.!!! Congrats!
  18. Wendy's chili is yummy or I did egg drop soup from a chines take out....that tasted good too with lots of protein!!
  19. Surgery 2/26/13 and have lost 36lbs....your doing really good, congrats!
