  1. Thank you all! Very good info!
  2. Is it okay to drink hot tea?! I know they gave it to me in the hospital but I'm just making sure. I'm 3 days post op
  3. I was the same as butterfly66. I did have symptoms. Acid reflux is a big one. I also started sleeping like I had sleep apnea.
  4. Thank you all for your support and suggestions. If i hadn't found this app I wouldn't have anyone. Maybe I do need a therapist or something. I know things get better but I've never had much success with any diet. So for me the light just seems a long way away.
  5. I just had this surgery and I feel like its the worst thing I've ever done. I'm 18 and I live with my parents. My mom just tells me to stop whining and both of my parents are eating whatever they want around me. Also, I don't know how I'm gonna get all this water in much less protein, food or even vitamins.. I'm like alone in this whole thing. none of my friends know either. I feel like I've made the biggest mistake in the world by having this surgery. )':
  6. Thank you all so much!!!
  7. I'm so nervous about my surgery tomorrow! I'm excited but nervous at the same time. I'm just worried about the pain I think but I have a pretty high pain tolerance... This is the first surgery I've ever had and I'm freaking out! Can anyone tell me a little about the pain factor? I know it's different for everyone but I'd love to hear everyone's experience. Also, how long did the worst pain and nausea occur? I've heard a couple days but has anyone experienced anything different? Thanks for all of your replies!!
  8. I dont think I'm an intense tanner.. I tan extremely fast. 20mins in a bed I have my base tan. I only tan a couple times a week the few months coming into spring/summer.. Then I'm outside all summer long. Then I stop... Until the next April/may. I know it isn't good for your skin, my mother never fails to remind me. Lol thanks for all the replies!! (:
  9. Thank you luckys! I'm new to this site as well! I will look for the thread (: & omg you're practically in heaven! Lol I love tingle, it's my fav! I know won't be good a few months after surgery.. I also know it dehydrates you more than regular. (I believe it even says so on the back of my snooki bottle!) but I did completely forget about the whole dehydration thing! I was just worried about the incisions ): I will probably wait until the end of may to start tanning again.. I also lay out in the sun with motor oil... But that won't be going near my stomach!!! Lol
  10. Lol! True. I know it's bad.. Thanks for the reply!
  11. I feel like it should be fine once they are completely healed and you get exercise clearance.. But it's the lotion that worries me a little. And I didn't think about a towel! That's a good idea!
  12. My surgery is April 9th. I'm extremely excited, but i do have an odd question to ask. Is it okay to go to the tanning bed when your incisions heal? I'm 18 and I tan quite frequently. I also use tingle lotion. Would that hurt anything? I'm just making sure. Also, I didn't want to ask my doctor because he would discourage it all together. Thanks everyone! This app is so encouraging!
