  1. Depends on what your Dr and NUT says Mine is 2 weeks but I know it varies from surgeon to surgeon.
  2. Power aide and Gatorade don't agree with me. I like vitamin water or life water. It goes down a lot easier than plain water.
  3. Yay! That's awesome! I can't wait to say the same thing!!
  4. Love the 1 finger salute Don't beat yourself up. Accept you made a mistake, pick yourself up and carry on. You can do this!!
  5. I just ordered one! I'm loving all the comments. I have quite the wish list going
  6. Thanks for all the responses
  7. Ooh that's a good one!
  8. So I'm 2 weeks post op and starting to think long term as far as cooking goes. Anybody have a favorite kitchen appliance that helps them make super yummy healthy dishes? I was looking into getting a food processor and a bullet. What are your favorites?
  9. Yummy. That sounds really good.
  10. Thanks. What about if your not sure on the serving size or how many it will feed. What do you do then?
  11. I was curious on how to calculate nutritional info for recipes when cooking. Is there a certain program ya'll use?
  12. I'm 12 days post op and my energy comes and goes. I still get worn out really quickly.
  13. I had no problems getting it down. It was just awesome to feel the fullness for the first time since surgery. I've been taking thin liquids great but not feeling any restriction. It was cool to see that with just a bit thicker consistency my stomach noticed and told me.....I'm probably not making much sense...
  14. Congrats on the weight loss. And thanks for the tips!
  15. So I was tired of having plain beef broth so I heated up some veggie beef soup and strained it. It is a bit thicker in consistency and boy did my sleeve let me know. I was getting a bit worried that I was taking liquids so well without any restriction. Good to have the confirmation....
  16. I'm 12 days post op and took my kiddos to the movies yesterday. I thought I would die smelling the popcorn. It smelled sooooo good!
  17. Hibiclens. You can get it at your local pharmacy. No prescription needed.
  18. Is there an online seminar you could watch to get more info?
  19. I love them! My fav is Blood Orange/Mango
  20. Went AMAZING!! I couldn't ask for a better surgeon. I really like him and the entire staff. No complications. Went home the very next morning. I've heard some people say they don't like him but I think it's because he is a no nonsense kind of guy. But if your doing what he asks he is a sweetheart. I could go on and on about him. I'm really pleased. Let me know if you have any specific questions. And definitely attend support group meetings. They are very helpful and motivating.
  21. I'm 10 days post op. Physically I feel great but mentally I'm just not motivated to do anything...What the heck is wrong with me?
