  1. "so that we'd have something to talk about."
  2. Bwa Ha Ha! Great one... Too bad this is not on you tube!
  3. Cream soups are OK on "full liquids", but not on "clear liquids". I just used condensed soups...
  4. Beautiful! I bet you lose just as fast as your body will let you lose!
  5. You'll get routine 'post-bariatric' blood work, so your team will make sure all the labs are OK. A lot of folks talk about moods and emotions right after getting the sleeve. Snoop around the threads! And I weigh once a week. NO MORE. The scale will make you crazier than you are anyway!
  6. He was great (all three in the group are). PMRI staff were great, surgery at Christiana and all staff on 7E were super. I have no complaints and I am a happy camper!!!
  7. Yes, be zen-like! Control is great but (in my case) when I get my control 'frustrated' I give up, and I don't want to do that!
  8. tell us more about this?
  9. relax and follow your program... it will work, though you don't get to decide how fast...
  10. That's the best start. Consider "The Big Book of the Gastric Sleeve", ask any questions, start to ween away from caffine and carbonation, and try to start a sensible diet!
  11. Hang in there, this too shall pass!
  12. yep, it'll be fixed with the sleeve!
  13. We'', that'll help your head put food in its place!!! Just focus on getting in the liquid and protein (like it or not).
  14. remember, even very skinny folks can have HBP, so just go through and see... I use Unjury vitamine products.
  15. Unsure from your description. Have hope, it does improve, day by day...
  16. Yep this happens. You have gone "cold turkey" so "when you find yourself in hell... keep going". I slowly cut down by adding more and more decaf, and thankfully never got the BAD withdrawal symptoms. GOOD LUCK!
  17. I am very lucky that my NUT has some sense and practices what she preaches!
  18. After dinner, NO food for me. I go to sleep before I snack.
  19. you could always use paper and pen to write it down and stroke tally the liquids (if you want).
  20. Talk to your NUT, I bet he/she would agree with you...
  21. Likely because it is not a "complete" meal replacement (like Optifast is). We mostly supplement with protein, it's not our entire 'Magilla'. Please check with other sources for the quality of the protein. AND I AM NO EXPERT. I do use Unjury, mostly because my NUT recommended it!
  22. And consider working with Alex on the next edition of "The Big Book of the Gastric Sleeve".
  23. everyone is different, but it will get better.
  24. Chic, I'm with you 100%. My surgeon said that he can give me a small stomach, but I still need to do the work... that I can defeat the sleeve if I want. I doubt if M&Ms will ever be on my plan...
