Dr verboonen and my coordinator Sheri Burke were the same way! I have called, sent emails...nothing. Not one word. The last I've heard from them was when I got dumped off 6 hrs early at the hotel in San Diego in which I spent the day on the lobby couch because their weren't any rooms available. I really need to write a review on here.

I did stall but am out of it now. Losing 1/2 lb a day or so...just thought it would be more than that

I can pretty much eat anything except citrus which I will add in a week and then I'm off any restrictions. I'm eating about 60-65 g Protein and getting about 50 oz of water...still working on that one. I am tracking what I eat with MyFitnessPal and averaging 35 carbs a day. If I eat fruit then it's higher but don't very often. Right now I pretty much just eat all protein (meats, Beans, cheese, hummus). I eat vegs, fruit, and breads sparingly but don't often because of the carbs. Don't know if I should keep it low and stay in ketosis or add more of the other foods and balance my diet. It's hard finding that sweet spot and what works for you. Really hoping my new job will pay for a nut!

TexasMiss got a reaction from scrapbasket in 5 months post op, -83 lbs & I'm gonna be a mom!
Ok, so its not exactly how it sounds but Friday I will finally become a mom... and it's a boy! I have been trying to adopt for over a year and he is coming to live with me this weekend. After four months of rushed evening visits and having to take him back after a weekend stay, he is finally coming home for good. This was one of the reasons I had the surgery--so that I could be a healthy and active mom. I still have a ways to go, but I feel better than I have in many many years. These last months have been life changing, and the surgery was the best thing I could have ever done for myself!

I have been struggling with the same 5 lbs for the last 2 months! I'm now .4 away from -150 and just can't seem to motivate myself to get back on the wagon. I'm not gaining, but I'm not losing either. I'm not stalled, I've gotten complacent. I've quit walking during my lunch hour cause it's so dang hot (excuse). I've quit logging my foods and counting my calories (my fault again). I'm in a funk and can't seem to drag my butt back into gear. I can completely sympathize, but know the fault is in myself. I know what I need to do, I just need to do it! lol

TexasMiss got a reaction from pookybear in Does anyone eat pizza?
I absolutely have pizza. I'm 13 months out, and I've learned not to restrict myself from foods I love, but change them to a healthier alternative. I will take a flat out kidz wrap, and throw it on my pizza stone for about 5 minutes to start to crisp it up. Then I take it out and put sauce, low fat part skim mozzarella crumbles, Hormel turkey pepperoni (these are fabulous), and then whatever veggies I want on it. Throw it back in the oven until the cheese is melted. I can eat about 1/2, and my kiddo eats the other 1/2 as a snack. He loves them except for when I put mushrooms on it lol. Sometimes I make a regular pizza but press out my dough to a thin crust and use whole wheat. Occasionally I will have Pasta. I like the healthy Harvest line. It's whole wheat but turns white when you cook it. My kid doesn't even know he's eating something healthy! Don't get me wrong, I do try to avoid carbs but when I don't, get a benefit out of them and only do whole wheat. If I want a sandwich I buy the thin rounds, use 1/2 and it's only 50 calories and whole grain. Soooo, lol, point being...I don't deny myself, I just look for ways to change it up

I am a year out 3/1. I eat chicken...lots of chicken lol. Fresh fruit and veggies, lots of salad. I eat a low fat string cheese and cucumbers for snack almost every day. I skimp on carbs. If i do eat carbs, then whole grain only. I limit myself to 800 calories a day and shoot for a minimum of 60 grams of Protein.
