  1. Just checking in on my fellow 1/17/13 sleeve buddies. How is everybody doing?
  2. I slept in the recliner for the first few days till i was able to sleep in bed. Now at 3 weeks out I'm sleeping on my stomach again. Been doing that for about 2 weeks now.
  3. My dr said 10 days. Main thing is that I wasn't on meds still. I didn't take my meds after few days and I did drive but only to take my daughter to school which is less than a mile away. If I had to go any further than the school my mom would pick me up or take my daughter to her appointment. Getting in and out if the car was kinda painful at first too.
  4. I'm 3 weeks out and in a stall. It will pass. Just keep up with what your doing and it will all catch up. Don't weigh daily, I know it's hard when you want to see numbers go down.
  5. http://m.youtube.com/channel/UCOMNcCqv02z2n49XOv0dkZA
  6. I get hiccups when I'm at my stopping point. The kids think its funny.
  7. I have the gnc unflavored too and I like it.
  8. I'm in houston and paid 15 grand.
  9. I was sleeved on the 17th and list 20 pounds at my 2 weeks. I'm in a stall right now and not a happy camper. Other than the stall I have had no issues and loving my sleeve.
  10. They sell the syrups for the soda stream at Walmart. You normally mixture them into the carbonated water. I suppose you could mix them into plain water.
  11. You need to sip befor and after within the 30 min window. Sip all day long. It's normal not to feel restriction on fluids as they slide down. You will feel more restriction once you move to thicker foods. Just keep sipping all day. Don't want to get dehydrated.
  12. The first solid thing I ate was fish. I seasoned a fish filet with some Cajun seasoning (easy so it wasn't too spicy) and I put a few drops of olive oil in the pan and browned it on both sides. I ate about half and gave the rest to my daughter.
  13. Expect to feel full faster. Chew well and slow down. Listen to your body. Some people use the world according to egg face for some recipes.
  14. My dr has them I think I just have to ask for it. But i either bring leftovers home or I order something my daughter would like and we share. At 7 she loves to eat and adult meal and lives to share so it works for us.
  15. Mix with some low fat mayo and chew well. It will fill you fast so go slow.
  16. I went I had a water bottle in my purse and a protein shake in there too. I was about a week out when I went.
  17. I was home alone too and did ok just make sure u gave all u need
  18. I put the mio in my Greek yogurt too
  19. I have that Metamucil clear and natural and I like it. I mix it into the last few swallows of my g2 and it doesn't throw the taste off at all. Works good too.
  20. Went in for my 2 week post op was sleeved the 17th. U started at 340, surgery date was 337 and today I am 319.8. I was cleared for soft food and exercise with no restrictions. Dr also said if I wanted to add in some solids he was ok with it as long as I went slow and listened to my body.
  21. Let your haters be your motivators!!!
  22. It should be fine. Have you tried g2? Same kinda thing they both have electrolytes which will help prevent dehydration.
